Tiffen 67mm UV FilterStrengths: Cheap, useful for lens protection Weakness: None so far (consider the price of this item) I'm a beginner in SLR photography and this is my first filter. I use this filter to protect my Tamron A16 lens. With this I don't need to care about closing the cover of my camera when walking around. I tried to take photos with and without the filter (with tripod and same camera settings), and I can't really tell the difference. Pretty happy about it.

Tiffen 67mm UV FilterStrengths: Cheap price, does what it's designed to do (prevent impact, dust, water) Weakness: Packaging less than what I expected, pales in comparison to more expensive brands I just bought this 67mm Tiffen UV filter for my EF 70-200mm F/4L. For what it is, the price is right and the product serves its functionality. I am mainly using this filter as a method of protection for my first L lens. It works perfectly fine for protection from dust, water, and head-on impact. Being an amateur/hobby photographer, I have never been compelled to buy the much more expensive B+W...

Tiffen #67UVP 67mm Protector Glass UV FilterStrengths: High quality, great glass, cuts down on the glare and UV, easy to mount. Protects the scope lens from damage and dust. Weakness: It needs to come with stackable lens covers to protect it. I put this filter on my Bausch and Lomb Discoverer Spotting scope, and it fits perfectly. Not only does it reduce the UV brightness, but it will also serve to protect the lens on the spotting scope from damage and dust. The scope lens cover screws directly onto the filter which enables you to leave the filter on indefinitely. Better to replace a $15 filter than a $200 spotting scope. Highly...

Tiffen 67mm UV FilterStrengths: Very cheap, Well constructed Weakness: Not multi-coated (not for this price anyway), may cause some vignetting on full-frame cameras I purchased this Tiffen 67mm UV Filter for under $10 for my Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS lens. I haven't had much time to test it out, but as far as I can tell, it seems to match its purpose. Have not noticed any vignetting, but I'm using a 1.6 crop Canon 30D, not a full-frame camera. It is not multi-coated but for under $10, it's not expected to be. It was purchased mainly for a protective always-on... Advertisement

Good filter
Strengths: Cheap, install without problem
Weakness: None
I bought this uv filter for protect my Nikon D80 lens. It fit the lens without problem. It's clear. The size is compact, the camera can fit the camera case with the uv lens on. This is a cheap and good enough to protect the expensive Nikon lens.
