The woofers are mounted in Enhanced BAM (Basket and Motor) assemblies — the low-profile high-strength steel baskets provide a firm foundation for the speaker motor. Accurate imaging and smooth high-frequency response are a given, thanks to Kicker's PEN semi-dome tweeters. What's PEN? Try "biaxially-oriented polypropylene naphthalate film."
