Horrible Company, Bad Product

Strengths: Looks Good

Weakness: Everything Else

The first unit broke right away. Had to send proof of purchase 3 times to 3 people. Customer service is unresponsive and told us we would just have to wait. No one within 50 miles works on Danby. Some repair shops had serviced them in the past but now refuse to do so. In the end, we waited 3 months for a new replacement unit that arrived today. An excellent fridge for entertaining.

Strengths: True dual-zone with separate controls and compartments. Nice track lighting.

Weakness: Price. Interior shelf trim a little less elegant than the doors.

This is a front-venting dual-zone beverage cooler for built-in applications. We purchased this unit because we wanted truly separate compartments for wine and soda/beer. It seems to reliably control these compartments independently, and so far, it seems quiet and efficient.

We had over $500 worth of wine in the unit. As the unit is under warranty, we contacted Danby. Having no service company in our area, they had to arrange for one. This took several extra days. Talking personally with their...

Great concept; Unfortunately unreliable

Strengths: Looks great; quiet when working

Weakness: Unreliable Cools one side, not other Customer Service is NOT-can't get service

Great concept-two distinct areas with own temperature control. Unfortunately, ours keeps failing. We have owned ours since1-2008. It will cool one side and not switch to cool other. Have had to have warranty work done for same issue 3-4 times first 2 years. Danby will not replace. As others have said, hard to find repairmen to service this unit as many dislike working with Danby. When it works it...
