Philips ProntoPro Next Generation Remote ControlStrengths: Extra hard buttons, super bright display Weakness: Time lag between button press and IR transmission, occasional freeze-ups I'd been using the original Pronto TS1000 for about 5 years and upgraded to the TSU7000. Philips ProntoPro Next Generation Remote ControlStrengths: Seemingly INFINITE configurability; flawless learning; very strong IR; amazing TFT color display, sharp! Weakness: Backlighting of hard buttons-3 seconds, not activated by touchscreen OR hard buttons - must press "light" button The TSU7000 is totally improved, in all the characteristics. It's perfectly visible on the dark, perfectly usable (no errors at all, touching the TFT), allows the owner to produce spectacular high resolution layouts. Its cost is an issue, but it is possible to find street prices far away from 1000$, making it an incredible bargain. Advertisement

A bit on the pricey side but worth...
