Linksys SR2024 24-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch

Strengths: Very easy setup. Plug and Play. Does not hum like the 3com I bought last year.

Weakness: Kinda expensive. They put the Cisco logo on it and jack up the price I guess.

Seems to work flawlessly with the rest of my network. Mounted easily to the wall. Would have liked more lights instead of one per port but it seems to function properly. Not a managable switch so no software. Figured out my uplink without a hitch.

Economic gigabit switch

Strengths: Gigabit

Weakness: Loud fan

I put two of this babies on my blackbox wall mount box. They work great as cheap entry level gigabit switches.

However, our Linksys AP connection sometime drops and I can't reach RV042 VPN router.
