Maxell 48x CD-R Media - 700MB - 120mm Standard - 100...Strengths: few coasters, plays in all my cd players Weakness: not a one I used to sweat by Memorex, but they seemed to get cheaper and cheaper. Since going to Maxell I have very few coasters and their discs play in all of my cd players. I highly recommend paying a little more for these discs. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Maxell 48x CD-R Media - 700MB - 120mm Standard - 100...Strengths: the cds can be played back, both on the computer & older cd player Weakness: at this time I can't say there is any weaknesses I have always been satisfied with maxwell products. So when I saw the cd-r spindle, I did not think twice of purchasing it. I am sure I will not be dissapointed with the quality of sound it gives. 50% of readers found this review helpful. CDR 100 PACKStrengths: fast, cheap, reliable Weakness: need larger space I bought this while it was on sale and I am very pleased with my purchase. I can burn most of the stuff and send to my relatives easily. These CDR are worth the money that I paid for. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

One of the BestStrengths: Compatibility and quality Weakness: None. Used up to 80 disc now, and all were perfect. Burned with different writers, both DVD and just the old plain CD-RW writer. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Made by one of the two brands that I trustStrengths: * Quality * Convenient multi-line text entry zone Weakness: * None With CD-R media becoming a cheap commodity, buying one brand versus the other often seams a matter of saving a dollar or two. On the other hand, if you have tried using media from different manufacturers, you might agree with me that not all CD-Rs are made equal. Maxell is one of the only two brands that I trust (Verbatim being the other one). I have never seen the silver coating peal off a Maxell CD-R disk. Besides, although it might sound silly for some, I really like the unobtrusively looking lined text area that Maxell consistently places on its media. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

a good valueStrengths: reliable, very few coasters, easy to mark on, durable spindle Weakness: don't burn as fast as some other CD-R media I've used a good value, though I have only tried it in two different burners - Nero seems to take longer to verify the data written to these disk than I've previously experienced, but I haven't had a problem with writing errors Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Maxell 100pk CD-R700 48x 700MB 80min SpindleStrengths: Maxell name brand carries a long history of high quality products, inexpensive pricing makes it a great deal, very easy to use, pre-printed lines on CD make it very easy to label Weakness: Haven't found any I have used over half of the spindle so far and have had absolutely no problems or bad discs. This is another high quality media product from Maxell that is a great bargain. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality low priced CD-R. Nov 2, 2007 The Maxell CDR 700MB discs have worked very well for me. I primarily use them to make MP3 audio discs for my two cars. Recommend this product. Sponsored Links

Evaluating Maxell CD-R's (CD_R700 Spindle)
Strengths: Very reliable at all sorts of burn speeds (8x, 16x, 24x).
Weakness: Hard to open the spindle cover to access blank cd-r'd.
I got these cd-r's in order to archive files of digital pictures. They have been pretty reliable so far. I started off using a slow burn speed (around 8x) and then gradually increased the speed with each additional archive cd I made to see how reliable these cd-r's were. I was very please. My cd burner could only go up to 24x, and at that speed my computer did not produce any bad cd's. I've continued to use the fastest burn speed since.
