Didn't work out of the box

Strengths: Had all of the parts needed.

Weakness: Poor recognition of both PCs. Had trouble switching between two ports.

Lack the ability to continuously switch between the two ports. IF I could get it to see both ports after the first or second time switching between the two ports the hardware would fail and something would not work. I boxed it back up and returned it for a full refund. My time is not worth dealing with errors in basic functions like this.

Very nice, simple and robust KVM switch

Strengths: -Easy to use, everything you need is included.

Weakness: -None

I've been using the Zonet KVM 3002 to manage my two work computers for almost two months now. This switch comes complete with all the cables you will need, and is a snap to install and use. Assuming that all you need to manage is two computers with PS/2 ports for mouse & keyboard, I don't see why you would need anything more expensive than this Zonet switch. The cables are much better than the flimsy, shoddily built KVM switch cables that I have seen in some brands. No software installation is needed, and you can switch between computers using the very handy "hot key"(hit "Ctrl" twice in rapid succession, and then "Enter").

This switch offers excellent value for money. It is often discounted with frequent rebate offers. Try to get it for less than $15-$16 if you can. It is a good value at even $25, but it's absolutely a steal for the prices I mentioned.
