Strengths: 500GB, Quiet, easy setup

Weakness: No one-button backup, cannot "stop" and disconnect once plugged into a computer.

I am not sure whether this is how it was designed, but I have tried several computers with WinXP or Win2000 and all of them showed me the same message cannot stop the mass storage device. So the only "safe" way to stop and disconnect an external hard drive is to shut down the computer... huh??
