It performs just like a rechargeable battery should. Panasonic Lithium Ion Camera Battery
Strengths: Relatively lightweight, short charging time.
Weakness: Battery capacity is only 680mAH at 7.2V.
This is a fairly run-of-the-mill rechargeable battery for Panasonic cameras. (You can also find other companies manufacturing batteries with exactly the same spec at a lower price.) I recently started using it with my new DMC-FZ20 digital camera. According to specs, I was supposed to be able to get 240 shots with one charge; the actual number I managed was more like 80 but this was probably due to the fact that I was playing around with the camera, and using the LCD a lot while learning all its different features. If I had used it purely to shoot pictures, I suspect I would have squeezed off three times as many pictures.
Overall the capacity is only a fairly poor 680mAH at 7.2V. In contrast, a set of four 1.2V, 2000mAH NiMH rechargeables give you nearly twice as much energy in theory. I would have liked to see at least 1000mAH on this battery. Also, I would check out non-brand name equivalent batteries which have the same specifications, which are a lot cheaper. I have one of them and cannot tell the difference between the original and the duplicate.
