A great phone at a great price!Strengths: It had everything I was looking for; a speakerphone, an answering machine, and it displays the date and time. A really cool extra is the google 411 feature. It finds the number and calls it for you! Weakness: The ring tones are a little weird and I wish they were a little louder, but it is the summer and the A.C. is blasting so it probably won't be a problem in the future. I am very pleased at the sound quality and the look of the phone. The blue back light really looks nice. It's also nice to access the answering machine from the base. Over all, it's a great phone for the money! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Deadly Crap
Strengths: Well, it does ring and take messages
Weakness: DECT 6 base stations emit more radiation than any cellular phone, and they are on 24/7. Incoming analog calls sound horrible. Battery needs recharging every two days.
Ooo wowee, DECT 6 - how fancy-schmancy futuristic! If the people who call you only use cell phones, your incoming calls will sound great. Analog calls, not so much. Kind of like receiving a call from someone using an electronic megaphone. The radioactive base station's RED-glowing LEDs and buttons are eye-catching, and are especially alarming to wake up to. The handset is overly-complex to set up. The handset flashes its own pulsating RED LED just in case you aren't in the same room as the base station and don't get to see its own light-show to let you know you can haz message. This handy light also helps exhaust the handset battery within 4 days at the latest. The remarks about the radiation in DECT 6 base stations comes from Cellphones and Brain Tumors -15 Reasons for Concern, just published by The Radiation Research Trust.
