Final Cut Pro Studio Bundle

Strengths: Great program. Easy to use right out of the box.

Weakness: So far, I have yet to find a weakness.

I would suggest that you purchase an instructional video to teach you the basics. The program does come with plenty of documentation, but a video is really helpful. The web has plenty of sites that offer training at a reasonable price. Also, a computer with plenty of memory and power is a must. If you spend the time to learn this program you will not regret it. Start with small amounts of video. One thing that I did do was purchase and external drive with 600 gig to store video files. Everything is working like a charm.

Great Video Production Software Package for Mac

Strengths: Powerful editing tools and DVD authoring software with scripting capabilities, Motion makes creating cool graphics a breeze, Soundtrack has nice audio sweetening and noise removal tools

Weakness: Motion in this version lacks 3D capabilities, Soundtrack Pro is still infant v1.0 software that has room for improvement, Final Cut Pro lacks some media and asset management features for logging

Final Cut Studio is an excellent collection of software tools for making top-notch videos. There's plenty to learn and master, but given enough time and in the hands of a skilled editor and artist it is an amazing tool at an affordable price when compared to Avid.

FCS gives you the power to edit a project on a powerful workstation or on a portable laptop, so you can take your projects wherever you go without the need for specialized outboard hardware.

Overall, it's a nicely integrated package that let's you edit your DV or other format video (or even film) and make professional featured DVDs. Highly recommend.

Apple Final Cut Studio Video Editing Bundle
