Jabra C220s stereo phone headset

Strengths: Great stereo sound, just make sure the 'MiniGels' are rotated to aim directly into your ear. Comes with adapter for standard 3.5mm stereo jacks. Light weight.

Weakness: Needs a volume/mute control on cord.

Am so impressed with this headset that I am purchasing a second set for my daughters VX8100. I like the fact that the headsets wrap around my ear so they don't fall off (earbuds just don't cut it). Great ergonomic design. Comfortable to wear for long periods.

Can't get much better.. but can

Strengths: The quality of the sound is great, its function is perfect, the microphone is very clear.

Weakness: A little uncomfortable.. the cord is a bit short and it tugs on your ear. But if you have it rested fine, it is alright.

Overall, you can't get much better with its clear sound and microphone. However its comfort can be improved (length of wire). All in all, I would buy it again and i definetly recommend it.

Jabra C220s headset good, but not great

Strengths: comfortable to wear, good phone headset

Weakness: lacks high-fidelity sound, no microphone mute function

I bought this after using a Jabra Earwave boom headset, which I like very much. My plan was to use the C220s instead of carrying both a phone headset and a stereo headset for my music player. Unfortunately, while this is a very nice phone headset, the sound quality for listening to music is not that great. For listening to music, the Jabra C220 ranks behind both my Senheisser PX100 headphones and my Koss Plug earbuds.

Not horrible, not great, but needs MORE improvement.

Strengths: Sounds like a charm, when it's fully connected. Comfortable, clear, stays in the ear without problems

Weakness: Doesn't connect fully to a PPC-9700. Threaded area for adapter makes a full plug-in impossible.

I repeat this does NOT fully connect into a PPC-9700. This means it DOES connect, but it has to be jiggled, and shifted slightly to create a full Stereo Headset Sound. And because it has that threaded end to attach an adapter, it doesn't seem like it plugs in all the way. Other than those major issues, I really enjoy the sound quality (of both listening, and speaking) of the C220 (that is, of course, when it's fully connected). It's extremely comfortable, and has no risk of randomly falling off like the standard earbuds. If Jabra could only make a Stereo Headset with a plug that goes in tightly with a full connection... The C220's also come with an adapter that I mentioned before, which converts the two-way headset into a 1-way audio input that's standard for MP3 players and CD players... but since my PPC IS my MP3 player, I haven't needed to use it. The package also comes with an extra pair of "bud-covers". Fresh out of the box, the bud-covers are long, and go deep into the ear canal. The extra pair is much shorter, so it gives the wearer a preference. Like I wrote before, when it's fully connected, it's a wonderful head-set, and i'm probably not going to return mine. But the problems I mentioned will bother a LOT of people, and hopefully, Jabra will make a set specifically for Pocket PC's.

I have found my Jabra!

Strengths: Jabra headphones/handsfree device work great with my phone both for playing mp3s in stereo and for taking calls. They are clear and very comfortable to wear. They stay in your ear unlike regular buds.

Weakness: They, like all headphones this size, could use a little more bass. I haven't found anything better overall though.

I highly favor these over similar products for both price and convenience reasons. I have an LGvx8100 cell phone with an mp3 player, and good dual headsets with a mic. are hard to find. Ones that say made for IPOD run about $49.99, and these were $25.00 including shipping. These are more comfortable and have better sound quality anyway. (Plus they are pretty, oh so pretty...)

Jabra C220's Hands-free stereo headset

Strengths: Loud, clear sound; ear pieces fit snugly in ears, eliminating a lot of external noise; compact

Weakness: few; not much bass depth; cords tangle, of course

I like this headset. As far as I could find, it is one of the few stereo ones available for phones, especially at a relatively inexpensive price, and is great for phones that play music or have V-Cast. The size makes it very portable - it can be tucked easily into a pocket or purse. It comes with replacement earplugs, too. Highly recommend this item.

Strengths: Very good sound quality.

Weakness: Hard to fit in ear sometimes.

These headphones are great! I am very satisfied with these headphones. They have really good sound quality in my e815 phone. You should really consider trying these out. The microphone works great and the song stops whenever I get a call.

great stereo headset

Strengths: volume, ability to answer incoming calls, won't fall off your ears.

Weakness: ear pieces take a little getting used to, no volume control on headset

This is a great headset for phones that have a 2.5mm jack. I purchased it for use with my Motorola E815 and have been quite impressed. Oddly, the volume is actually a little too loud even on the quietest setting - but this is the phone not the headset. The earpieces have been comfortable for multiple hours at a time and unlike earbuds they will not fall off. If the part that goes into your ear isn't positioned right it may sound like that side isn't working, so move it around a bit and that should take care of the problem. Overall I'm very pleased - great stereo sound, the ability to answer incoming calls with the push of a button, and I can even activate voice recognition dialing. If there were a volume control on the cord it would get 5 stars.

Great idea but poor implementation

Strengths: Comfortable earpieces, good fit, sound in both ears during calls

Weakness: Poor music sound quality, hard to get good connection with mobile phone, cannot simultaneously listen to music and phone

I tried this product off and on and for three months, and have never been satisfied with it.

Sound quality for phone calls is fine (if you can get the sound at all, see below). To listen to music, you must attach the included adapter to make the headset have a standard headphone plug, so obviously you can't simultaneously listen to music (unless you have a phone that plays music through a 2.5mm jack). The sound quality for this is a disaster -- almost no bass. Just like a pair of cheap earbuds.

With all the phones I tried that have a 2.5mm jack (a Sanyo Sprint PCS PM-8200, as well as several Panasonic cordless phones), getting the plug into the jack is difficult. The plug on the headset is not a standard 2.5mm jack (it has three rings), so you must only plug it in 2/3 of the way to get any sound at all through the earpieces. And since the plug is not tight, it often comes out, and you can't hear the party on the other end.

A better product can be found with the Skullcandy company (do a search on an engine to find about their implementation). They allow you to plug both devices into your headset at the same time, and they even have a model which lets you choose any standard stereo headphone you want!

Does not work with Sprint Fusic Phone

Strengths: looks good. Wears comfortably.

Weakness: It does not work correctly on my Fusic phone. I can get stereo sound by slightly pulling back the plug but I can't wear the phone in my pocket or at the gym like that it just won't stay in place.

This purchase was a huge disappointment. It did not come with an stereo adapter like some other people talked about and the plug is not the same standard as for my Fusic phone. you'd think that there would be an industry standard for the spacing of the left right audio and microphone. but it appears that that's not the case. with the absence of the stereo adapter It's completely useless for me. even though it was only $8.00 it was money waisted.

Great sound, good product

Strengths: Great sound and I can still hear outside sounds.

Weakness: None.

This headset has great sounds and is confortable to wear. I use it when walking and can still hear street sounds. Used on an enV phone, the cord is a little annoying because it's long but it works out well if you're on an exercise machine.

Strengths: Clear sound and loud volume.

Weakness: Bass, people say they hear an eco when using it for conversation.

I use this headset with my i870 and it works very well. It is comfortable on the ears. The button won't answer the phone calls though. Good headphones. Very loud also.

Weakness: sometimes uncomfortable, the 2.5 mm jack doesnt always look attached, needs more bass

Great headset, a lot of pluses, just a few things they need to fix. the 2.5mm jack could be redesigned better so it looks like it is on. Great sound for a cellphone headset, but i would like to see more bass. Sometimes it doesn't sit well on your ears, but other than that its a good buy.

Strengths: Stereo sound, fit, detachable mini gel ear buds and voice dial.

Weakness: 2.5mm input has "screw" threads which doesn't allow the jack to be flush with phone.

I got this headset for my LG VX9800. Excellent stereo quality.

According to the Jabra website, it was not suppose to work with the Samsung SCHA-970, but it does, including the voice dial feature.

The large size soft mini gel ear buds had better sound than the smaller one depicted in the picture.

When answering a call, only one of ears have sound. Maybe this is a safety feature, but I was hoping for stereo conversations...

The 2.5mm phone input has screw threads that are designed to work with the included adapter for standard stereo input. At first this was weird because the phone jack wasn't flush with the side of the phone, making one think that it was not all the way in. Otherwise the included adapter does work very well when it was connected to my laptop.
