I order the binocular from amazon. The first pair had a collimation problem. I cannot acheive focus on left eyepiece. Amazon sent me a replacement in two days. Very good services. But this time the tripod adapter is defect. I cannot lock it in place.

Celestron 25X100

Strengths: Optics.

Weakness: Weight.

My experience after 2 sessions is VERY good! Light gathering is excellent and all mechanical features work as expected.

The Orion Nebula and surrounding areas are amazing when viewed in a larger context than I get from my 8" SCT.

I've found that a video camera tripod is too flimsy for this unit and homemade parallel mount viewing chairs take time to build. The prospect of "getting it right" is my current challenge. What fun!!!
