Best all aroundStrengths: Powerfull, fast, and very reliable piece of equipment!! The new OS Tiger runs smooth as butter...no more Ctrl-Alt-Del on my old pc thanks to the new Imac!! A must buy! Weakness: NONE SO FAR!!! ( just wish mine had the iSight ) I have been using pc's forever...After tring an ibook 3 years ago...I bought one, then a iMAC G4, And now the G5!! Excellent all around machine
Strengths: Plenty of everything a houshold, small business would need for the next few years. newest models have built-in wireless and bluetooth technology. Super fast and plenty of memory. Screen is awesome.
Weakness: Been a MacUser since the start of Apple. Can't find a flaw with this unit. It has everything and the kitchen sink.
I purchased mine on my birthday in July. Previoulsy worked with an old powerbook G3 for the past 7 years. Had to finally upgrade after so many wonderful improvements and pricing and packaging. Waited until OS Tiger was included and by that time they had added great new hardware and increased memory to the ImacG5 with no added cost. This unit will take through the next 7 years easily. All the latest ports, firewire and USB, great graphics card and plenty of speed. Remember PC folks you double the chip speed on a Mac for comparison. So a 2ghz is similar to a 4ghz PC computer.

Sure, double the chip speed cause its a mac. Then subtract the cost and limited supply of software, then divide by two for the number of people you will know that have a compatible computer including yourself. Then you get the real speed. But it looks nice, and will match your ipod, but it still will not let you archive your music. But who cares about that when it looks cool? Just look at all the other imacs that people still use 7 years later for the real story people.

Great piece of equipment!!!! Used pc's forever with work and play, tried a mac 3 years ago and never went back!!! A must buy for either at home or office. This Mac can handle anything you can throw at it!!!
