Sony Carrying CaseStrengths: The size is nice and compact. For the price you are paying for you at least get a NP-FC11 InfoLITHIUM battery which was very important. Weakness: I perfer a leather camera casing. The design or look of it could like nicer. This is a decent starter kit for the price that pricegrabber had. Sony Carrying Case
Strengths: Small attractive looking carrying cases. Sturdy MemoryStick case. Can hold many many MemorySticks. Spare battery is very useful.
Weakness: Camera case is too small. The pouch in front can barely fit an extra battery. MemoryStick case carrys just that -- only MemorySticks. I don't think I'll ever have the need to carry 8 MemorySticks!
Although each of the cases has some utility value they seem to be designed to carry just one item. The front utility pouch of the camera case is too small to carry much more than one spare battery. The camera compartment is designed in such a way where it's difficult to fit even its intended camera (in this case the DSC-V1). The MemoryStick case comes with an interchangeable "rack" -- one without grooves for carrying MemorySticks. There are no instructions to indicate what exactly this "rack" is supposed to do. The MemoryStick case itself carrys only MemorySticks (no batteries or other accessories). I don't think I'll ever own anywhere near 8 MemorySticks. The spare battery was nice.
