Works on PS3 too!Strengths: Works for both PS2 and PS3, Nice length: 10', Quality construction Weakness: none I purchased this set of cables for when I move my PS3 off my main TV where it is connected via HDMI to my bedroom HDTV that does not have HDMI. Since the PS3 doesn't have a power brick like a Wii or Xbox 360 moving it is very easy and convenient. Now that I have a set of component cables for my bedroom TV the picture is much crisper over the included composite cable! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Gets the job done as well as the namebrand Sony cableStrengths: Affordable Weakness: None Found this on clearance at a local department store (the one which has the big red bullseye as its logo) for considerably less than twenty bucks. At that price, it was a worthy contender to connect my PS2 to an LCD TV, at a significant savings compared to the namebrand Sony version of this cable. Worked fine right out of the box, no issues. Cables that work!Strengths: The length of the cables are a big plus. I don't have to place the ps2 right next to the TV. Weakness: Would have been nice if these were black to match the color of the PS2. Instead, they just stand out too much. Also, one of the connectors seemed a little too tight to me. For the price and what you get, I can't complain too much. Although some of the games on the PS2 don't benefit so much from component out, the picture is still clear and signal quality of the cables is good. I like the length, just wish they were black. One of the connectors seemed overly tight to me and required a bit of forcing to get it connected, but a little twisting to put it place helped. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Gamelink 400 Component Video Cable for Gamecube...Strengths: Tight rca connections. Nice color indicators for wires. Weakness: Had to push fairly hard on one cable to attach to tv. I was concerned that the tv connection could be damaged having to push so hard. I guess that is a chance you take when you want a tight connection. Works great, no signal glitches. Monster Gamelink 400 component video cable for PS2Strengths: Heavy duty feeling product,very nice improvement in my sound and video on my 1080 50" LCD. The 10' length came in handy also. Weakness: Plugs were a bit snug, but hey, better snug than loose I say. Another quailty Monster product. Very nice improvement over the stock Sony cables. The price point of these was right for my skinny wallet. I think I may get another set for my other big screen TV, easier to switch out the playstation between TVs that way. PS2 Monster Component Video CableStrengths: Good picture quality / video signal Robust cables and gold-plated connectors Long cable (I think it's 10 ft) Price (I purchased it for under $9) Weakness: Bulky packaging I purchased this cable for use with my PS2 on my 42" plasma HDTV, and I think it does a great job. The picture quality is definitely a step up compared to the cables included with the original console. I tried GT4 and it looks amazing in 1080i. I got it for under $9, so I think I got a great bargain, especially considering it's Monster. In my opinion, the cables are very good quality. The wires are thick and robust, and the gold-plated connectors are much better than the original. If you can find these cables at a reasonable price, I would definitely get it. I would recommend these cables to anyone looking for good picture quality over the included PS2 cables. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Monster GameLink 400 Component Video CableStrengths: solid cables. Weakness: Product is bulky connections are too tight. Without these cables you wont be able to display 1080i or 1080p. I tested the difference in the picture with these cables vs a more expensive one and there were no differences. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameLink 400 Component Video Cable (PS2)Strengths: Great quality material that's not flimsy like the regular cables. Weakness: Colors were a bit tough to distinguish. World of a difference in graphics. Don't want to go back to composite cable again if I can help it. Definitely worth the upgrade because I don't plan to get a PS3 or a 360. Worth Every Penny!!!Strengths: Super High Quality Component Cable Works With PS2 AND PS3!!! Weakness: Very Snug plugs These are great quality component cables for your PS2. As an added bonus they will work with your PS3 as well. These blow the stock RCA cables out of the water and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a PS2 and a TV with component inputs. GameLink 400 Component Video Cable ReviewStrengths: Good quality construcion, All-in-one Audio/Video design Weakness: Hefty and heavy, Not a huge improvement on PS2 This cable is the best component video cable you can get for PS2. While it is very well constructed the PS2's graphic system is not cable of taking true advantage of the bandwith this cable provides. This said, you will notice a marked improvement from the regular composite video (RCA cables) and a very slight improvement over the S-Video cable but don't expect any miracles or true HD quality. Monster GameLink 400 Component Video CableStrengths: Make your games look better, if supported Weakness: Tight/narrow connectors It works great and makes existing games look better (if the game supports it)BUT only if the connectors fit. These cable connectors are so much tighter/narrower than usual. I was not able to even force fit them onto my tv so I had to test them using someone else's. PS2 Monster CableStrengths: Solid construction, thick jackets, tight connections, resists interference, great picture quality, long cord length Weakness: None This is a great cable! The individual cables are thick and sturdy. They have a generous amount of shielding and the connectors grip the tv plugs tightly. Picture quality this cable is much better than both the original PS2 hookup and PS2 cables w/ s-video. Also, to use the progressive scan feature users must have component cables. Expensive Cable, but the Quality is There
Strengths: Clearly well-built and high quality cabling. Allows PS2 to output the best video resolution it can.
Weakness: With Monster quality comes the Monster high price.
This cable is another in a long line of high quality Monster cables, allowing the PS2 to output DVD-quality video. It works as advertised. The only downside is the Monster high price--make sure to shop around.
