Vantec Premium VGA Cooling KitStrengths: perfect replacement for your broken heatsink on your compatible geforce card. easy to install. good cheap replacement. comes with 4 additional memory heatsinks Weakness: none The fan on my heatsink on my geforce fx5600 broke and i obviously needed to replace it, but i could not find an actual fan component so i just bought a brand new heatsink. after installing the new heatsink my video card immediately started working properly again and i am able to play games without the card overheating. the price of this brand new heatsink makes it well worth buying so you don't have to replace your expensive card. it's also notable that it comes with 4 memory heatsinks as well. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Vantec Premium VGA Cooling KitStrengths: Excellent fan design and illumination, silent and nearly inaudible. Bonus heatsinks! Weakness: Applying the thermal paste without instructions or experience can be quite challenging. Effective cooling solution for those who desire a quieter vga card. After removing the excessively noisy stock vga fan and installing the Iceberq 4, my computer was more tolerable and seemed cooler temperature-wise and appeal-wise. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Vantec Premium VGA Cooling KitStrengths: Cheap, all copper, has a blue led, and it is better than stock. Weakness: Instructions are weak, only four ramsinks when I needed eight , and the ramsinks are too large for most applications. If you using this on a 9800pro, you will have to remove the shim on the gpu (dangerous, but can be done). Vantec Premium VGA Cooling Kit
Strengths: Excellent cooling, cool blue leds, short height, push pin mounting, quiet and out-perfoms the Crystal Orb.
Weakness: none
I bought this cooler for my ATI Radeon 9500 Pro which I had overclocked to the 9700 Pro and it made an immediate drop in temps from 47.9 C. to 38.5 C. (idle load) on this video card as reported by my Digital Doc 5 monitor.
Some more reasons I bought this VGA cooler was the excellent results I had cooling the north and southbridge chips on my GA-7VAXP motherboard using Vantec's CCB-A1C Iceberq and also the excellent cooling I got using the Vantec Aeroflow on AMD 1800XP and 3000XP processors which had allready allowed me to do some very high overclocks using air cooling alone.
To say it simply, Vantec puts out some great products.
