Fast-Paced ActionStrengths: fast-paced action, great graphics, great online play and multiplayer; lots of replay value; cheap price Weakness: single player mode is just a lot of fights and very little story Unreal Championship 2: Liandri Conflict is an awesome and fast-paced first person shooter made by Digital Extremes, those who made the excellent PC shooter, Unreal Tournament 2004. The new things they added for the xbox version are melee combat (with cool fatalities) and third person view. The melee combat is pretty good, and shots can be deflected if timed properly. The feeling you get when deflecting a sniper shot back onto your opponent to get a headshot is one of the best you can get in any FPS! They have made this game suited for xbox with the controls and feel of the game. Many people online focus on either melee or ranged combat, but it is best to use some of each. The fast paced gameplay is great and fun at the same time...this game complements well with slower paced shooters like Halo. The online play is great and multiplayer is a blast. If you have xbox live and know people who play this online, you should definitely get it because it is pretty cheap right now (19.99 or lower). This game has high replay value because of all the options you have in multiplayer. Even if you can't get any friends over to your house to play or if you don't want to play online, there are bots you can compete against which are some of the best bots in video games today. There are some cool unlockables too like Raiden from Mortal Kombat (this is because Midway published the game). The only negative thing about the game is that the single player mode is just like a tournament with just a little bit of story and not much else. The single player is very tough because the bots are so good, but you will have some fun with it. However, just remember that this game is multiplayer-focused. Overall, this is one of my favorite shooting games on the Xbox and i recommend it for any fan of the genre that's looking for some fast-paced action Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

FPS and a fighting game packed into oneStrengths: variety of gameplay modes, tons of levels, character uniqueness (melee weapons and special abilities) Weakness: can be unbalanced If you are tired of Halo 2 and looking for another FPS to play, this is the game for you. UC2 throws in a mix of fighting along with it hectic shooting. In addition, to the varied gameplay, you now have a variety of characters---each with their own melee weapon and special abilities. Add these new features along with 50 or so arenas, you have one hell of a chaotic and fun FPS game. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Same gameand better qualityStrengths: Superb graphic. Weakness: I would give 5 stars if it had as nice a single player mode. Unreal championship and its sequal are among my favorite shooters in PC. The XBOX version of UC 2 exceed its PC counterpart. Superb graphic and smooth game play. Usually I like to play alone rather than play online. It would have been greater if I had been able to play alone in the campaign mode. Otherwise, this is one of the best games out there for XBOX. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Another excellent title on the XBOXStrengths: Fast and furious, non-stop action for multiplayer Weakness: Short single player campaign Unreal Championship 2 is another solid, excellent XBOX game that is unforgiving to the console's processor. It is fast and furious, requiring quick reaction to the environment. The training module was excellent, although difficult at times. The multiplayer option is excellent compared to the solo missions. Definitely a good buy! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Unreal Championship 2Strengths: Great graphics, smooth gameplay, very balanced Weakness: Not really any, but if I had one complaint, it would be more customization, more players This is an excellent online and offline game. The game is a fast paced shooter/brawler with multiple game types. The graphics are amazing for the XBox and there isn't any slowdown at all. The characters are numerous and each plays differently from the others. The maps are very well designed and balanced. This is just an incredibly fun game. It may take some time to learn the controls, and it requires that you put time into it to become a good player, but once you have, you will really enjoy this game. This is one of my favorite XBox games. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Unreal Championship 2Strengths: Great graphics, smooth gameplay, unique first person shooter, and great multiplayer. Weakness: Not many weaknesses. Not as good as Halo. After seeing the greatness that is the pc version, the xbox had to offer something since it could not graphicsally compete with the pc version. Thus was added a melee system which actually makes it deeper than the PC version. The controller is not a good substitute of the mouse/keyboard combo, but this game is great on its own. Another solid title in the Unreal seriesStrengths: Beautiful graphics, Good multiplayer and online support. Weakness: Single player campaign is lacking. The unreal series has been giving great fragfest action for years, and this title is no disappointment to it's history. In a new move for the franchise the first person camera has been moved back to make for a third person shooter, but the gameplay still holds up well in the different format. Great for jumping in a quick game online or spending hours killing your friends, the multiplayer is truely superb. My only real complaint is that the single player mode seems like it was thrown together at the last minute, sure you can play with bots in deathmatch, but there is not much of a story mode to the game. Unreal Championship 2Strengths: good graphics, xbox live Unreal Championship 2 is a first person shooter with a third person perspective. You can play as one of 14 characters from the Unreal universe each has its unique powers, and moves. You also can choose 2 additional weapons for the character. Intense single player modes where you take the role of Anubis and enter a 2 part tournament. There are 50+ maps available. You can play with up to 8 on xbox live. Split screen for 2 player. Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox)Strengths: Great graphics, frantic action, bots for multiplayer, 1st & 3rd person views, melee weapons Weakness: More multiplayer focused than single-player Unreal Championship 2 is a fast-paced FPS for the Xbox. It has some great looking graphics, the action is fast and furious across numerous maps. There are both ranged and melee weapons for use, and with the melee weapons, it changes automatically to a third person view, though the 3rd person view is selectable at all times. Multiplayer incorporates bots for single player gameplay, as well as XBL-capable gameplay. There is a single player campaign, though it's only to introduce characters. Unreal Championship 2Strengths: Fast paced gameplay, nice graphics, good controls, new hand-to-hand combat Weakness: No real single player mode Unreal Championship 2 is an excellent multiplayer first person shooter made exclusively for the Xbox. They really took everything from the original and added so much more to this game. Probably the biggest addition is the ability to switch to third-person mode and perform hand to hand combat with melee weapons. This really enhances the gameplay and is done in a way that is seamless. At its core though, it's still a first-person shooter and it controls beautifully. This game is extremely fast paced and twitch based, so if you are used to Halo 2, your going to be amazed by how much faster this game is. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great GameStrengths: tons of replay value Weakness: controls take getting used to I bought this because I was sick of Halo 2 and all its fanboys. This game has a slick presentation, fun/fast gameplay, and great live play. The game takes place in 1st and 3rd person. It is a frantic shooter for all shooter fans. Highly recommended. This is too Cool - Gotta have this gameStrengths: Great storyline, Stunning graphics with movie cutscenes, XBOX Live compatible Weakness: None Having played Unreal on the computer and hearing the hype around Xbox live, I rented this title from my local video store. Wow, the graphics and game play are awesome. It’s got a real good storyline with a tutorial in Unreal combat controls. You can change from 1st person to 3rd person view, whichever you prefer. There are multiple arenas to challenge and you can even play with the computer in team battle. This should prepare you for XBOX Live. Found lots of players available with multiple rooms. I went out and bought this game a few days later. Come get it and I will see you online. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Unreal gameStrengths: Stellar graphics and super fast fighting This Unreal game is customized for the XBox. It is the balance between fighting game and first person shooter that makes this a really new experience. The graphics are excellent and the action is non-stop. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Unreal Championship 2Strengths: Excellent Live enabled play, the addition of melee weapons is a great feature Weakness: Those used to PC FPS games may have trouble adjusting to the controls. Unreal Championship 2 is easily in a league of it's own. It improves upon the first game, while at the same time adding in hand to hand combat with knives, swords, and other melee weapons. This is an integral part of the game, and dosen't feel like a cheap add on. These multiple styles of playing will take some time to master, and mastering them is fun when you're playing with your friends over Xbox Live. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict
The original Unreal Championship hit XBoxes a few years back as a flagship title for XBox Live, but unfortunately turned out to be little more than a shoddy port of Unreal Tournament 2003. However, the crews at Midway and Epic Games decided to work from the ground up when it came to the sequel, Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict. This time around, the game has a (somewhat) cohesive... Top

The real thing?
Strengths: Melee combat, live support
Weakness: Single player could be more robust
Strong melee combat is perhaps the best thing about this latest release in the Unreal Championship lineup. And that's a good thing, because chances are excellent that you'll be doing a lot of it. Of course it's also a FPS, but the hand-to-hand combat is the most memorable.
With 50 maps to chose from in multiplayer, there's plenty to do online, and the graphics are easy on the eyes.
Overall, a fun game, especially if you can find it cheap.
