Phoenix in ceiling speakersStrengths: affordable, great sound Weakness: none Overall, these are great ceiling/wall speakers for the price. The price and performance combo (value) is great. I set these up for my brother and they really fit in the room nicely. Luckily, we were installing in a drop ceiling so it was pretty easy to run the speaker wire. Great speakers
Strengths: Sound for the price
Weakness: None
I used these speakers to replace Athena micra speakers and they sound as good or better. I am still using the center speaker and subwoofer from the Athena micra set but I would have noticed any degradation if there was any due to the fact that the speakers are no longer at the ear level. Also, the fact that I only paid $25 for a pair at Amazon (when they had them on sale) makes it an incredible bargain. I highly recommend them.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that they have a responsive customer support. While installing, I ended up twisting the screw too hard and it broke the outer plastic ring. I called their technical support and they sent me a replacement for free with in a week and I was able transfer the speaker assembly on to the new one.
