GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: Smaller than it's predecessor. Back lit. Lasts for 9 hours with the light on, 18 hours without. Takes just about all previous games. Like everything about it. Weakness: None that I know of. Bought these for grandsons who are very tech savvy for their ages (8 & 10) and they love them! Also like the fact that they last so long on battery and that there are attachments to hook them up to one another to play against each other. 86% of readers found this review helpful. GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: it is so cool and the portabilty is just amazing Weakness: you will have to replace the rechargeable battery after 2 years or about 600 charges The game boy advance sp is the ultimate gaming system with good graphics and awsome gameplay. Metroid fusion,007 nightfire, and splinter cell are really good games for it and the action and adventure will keep you ready for gunfights, escaping a room from bombing, and missions in outerspace. The gaming system folds so it will fit in your pocket. (but it won't stay in there that long) The GBA SP is the ultimate system. This product is $99.99 but it is worth it. 77% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: Built-in Light and the weight. Weakness: No earphone jack. I had the Gameboy Advance but was not satisfy with the screen without light. I tried different light accessories but none of them was satisfactory. I think it may be due to the reflective nature of the screen. Finally, I was thinking about adding the Afterburner kit. However, after reviewing the pitfalls of installation and the price, I decided it was best to get the SP. With the SP, the lighting makes a whole world of difference. Well, the weight is also lighter than the previous model. Of course, the rechargeable battery is a benefit too. 76% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: Solor Powered with a Portable fold. Also recharges on it's own long-lasting battery pack. Comes with addapter. Weakness: poor handling. The Game Boy SP is nice, but may not fit your hands as well as the original advance (which can be resolved by buying a handling accessory). It is a good item to have on your hands especially now that the price has dropped $20! 75% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: I really like the light on my Gameboy SP. Weakness: You can't plug the headphones in without the attachment. This is the best Gameboy so far. The light makes it easy to play any time of day or night. I also love watching the short movies on my SP, and the optional radio is cool. 74% of readers found this review helpful. GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: Sleek, compact, powerful! Weakness: How long will the battery last? Just got it tonight! Highly recommended. I have been through 4 hours of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and it's a blast! Maybe one of the best Nintendo systems yet. Tons of amazing games (Golden Sun, Sword of Mana, Wario Ware Inc., Final Fight One, just to name a few...) and the graphics are quite amazing for such a small system. If you have a GameCube and some GameCube-to-GBASP cables, make sure you buy Zelda:4SA. Hours of great gameplay, rechargeable battery, lit screen for those through-the-night trips, and so many gaming possibilities. Four player battles through Zelda:4SA and Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles are a blast! Or play by yourself with the other great aforementioned games! Am I rambling?... 74% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: This game will keep my kid busy, when we drive a long way to other states. And his time in the boring aftercare in the summer camp passes by much faster now! He is so excited to have this game! Weakness: We knew that the game was "slightly used", but it came scratched, and it was upsetting. We paid only $1.40 for shipment, and the game came in one day - that was really great, because my son could not wait for long! 71% of readers found this review helpful. GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: LCD Screen; long-lasting battery Weakness: A bit pricy at first glace, but worth it. Mighty little hand-held! Much better than previous model. LCD screen makes it a sweet little machine without requiring extra accessories. Long lasting battery gives you much more play time. Convenience is the word for your ability to play all the classic Game Boy games. You'll be a hit with your friends when you have the latest in the palm of your hand. 69% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: portable rechargeable light button smaller than orginal gameboy advance Weakness: without the light button you can't see very well, it is expensive I really enjoyed my gameboy advanced sp I had good games and would recommend it to anyone who needs something to do in their spare time. (if they don't want to exercise or anything)They also had a good selection of games especially those which had come out on previous systems. To wrap things up I would purchase this again and also I would also recommend it to anyone who is bored. 68% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GameBoy Advance SP: PlatinumStrengths: Built-in light, folds up so you can't break the screen, built in rechargable battery cell, light and tiny, and slightly better picture quality. Weakness: No IR device, no earphone jack, battery cell must be replaced after about 500 full charges, or in 2-3 years, battery cell costs a lot. This is the newest Gameboy Advance out on the market, and overdoes it's predecesor big time, with the built-in light and rechargable battery, but there are a few flaws . . . There is no IR device, and no headphone jack for the earphones. But that doesn't stop me from playing it 24-7. I reccoment this system to any gamer who doesnt want to spent a whole load of money, trying to get add-ons for there regular GameBoy Advance. 63% of readers found this review helpful. GameBoy Advance SP: Platinum
Strengths: Portability, large number of games, appeal for all ages, high graphic quality, no need for batteries.
Weakness: Addictive nature.
I have only had the GameBoy Advance SP Platinum for 4 days, and I can't put it down. Time just flies by while I play. It's small and portable enough to carry in a pocket, yet I still get a great gaming experience due to the stunning graphics. There are tons of games available, so the GBA SP can keep you occupied for years. And as a bonus, no need for batteries. I am highly impressed with this product.
