YOU WON'T REGRET BUYING THIS MODEL

Strengths: A GREAT PICTURE,RICH COLORS. A LOT OF INPUTS FOR GAMES, STEREOS, ETC. PRICED WELL BELOW THE SONY. NICE SOUNDING SPEAKERS

Weakness: I HAVN'T FOUND ANY YET

I'M REALLY GLAD THAT I BOUGHT THIS MODEL.I SHOPPED AROUND FOR A MONTH AND FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS T.V...IT DOESN'T HAVE A BUILT IN TUNER, SO YOU NEED A CABLE BOX BUT I WANTED ONE ANYHOW SO I WOULD KEEP MY ON SCREEN T.V. GUIDE AND IN DEMAND SERVICE.I BOUGHT IT AT CIRCUIT CITY WHICH GIVES YOU A MONTH TO DECIDE IF YOU LIKE IT OR ELSE YOU CAN GET A FULL REFUND.IT IS SIMPLE TO HOOK UP AND IT CAN BE HUNG ON THE WALL IF YOU WANT. FOUR SCREWS AND THE BASE COMES RIGHT OFF.THE REMOTE CONTROL IS EASY TO USE AND CHANGING SETTINGS IS REALLY EASY.

Panasonic TC-32LX50: Excellent Product at a Killer...

Strengths: Speakers on bottom, lots of inputs, beautiful picture quality, nice feel to the remote, swivel feature is smooth, wide viewing angles, excellent ergonomics

Weakness: Only one HDMI input, menus seem a tad clunky, slight/occasional interlacing artifacts in 1080i, no HD tuner, can't use the rear input cover with HDMI and component cables installed, no PIP.

I was looking for an HD ready LCD in the 32" size and settled on the Panasonic. I am pleased to report I made the right choice as this TV is the best in class in my opinion. Picture quality in HD is top notch but does occasionally suffer interlacing artifacts (not bad really, just every so often, could be due to the satellite signal). It may not be as feature laden as the Bravia or the Aquos but it has everything you need in an clean looking slim package. For people with existing HD cable boxes or sat tuners, this TV is a good choice. Speakers on the bottom allowed me to go to a bigger screen while still fitting in the allotted space. I am thinking about buying another for my bedroom. Buy this TV with confidence.

Great TV

Strengths: phenominal picture, plenty of inputs, HDMI, great sound

Weakness: ony HDTV ready (but who really cares? just get a box.

I did a lot of research into buying a television. This was my first flat panel TV that I bought and I wanted to make sure that I made the right decision. I definitely did, because this TV blows me away.

When I was looking around for a TV, for me, the most important thing was to have a good picture. I looked at every possible TV you can think of, and every time, I kept coming back to this one. The picture is very crisp, and the blacks are very dark. The contrast on this TV is perfect. It has a very bright screen so it is very easy on the eyes.

I was trying to decide between this one and a SONY and in the end, the picture quality ended up being the same, if not a little better, but the Panasonic was several hundred dollars less expensive. Plus, Panasonic has been known for making quality TVs.

True, this TV was a bit more expensive than several less-known name brand TVs with the same specifications. And as much as I wanted to like those, I just kept coming back to the crisp, and bright picture of this TV. You get what you pay for. If you're going to spend over $1000 for a TV, spend a little bit more to get something that will be quality for years.

I ended up buying this TV from buydig.com for approximately $400 cheaper than what I found even in the cheapest stores. I got a 3 year extended warranty on it from them and it still ended up being cheaper than anything else I could find.

I think that this TV has the brightest and crispest picture on the market.

The only minor bad thing that I found about this TV is that when you push the previous channel button and it jumps back to the previous channel, it doesn't display the number of the new or old channel. Very minor detail that really doesn't detract from the overall wonderful TV.

Panasonic TC-32LX50 32

Strengths: Easy set-up, simple multi-function remote, compact case

Weakness: no HDTV tuner

Easy "out of box" setup - I was able to pull the TV out of the box, plug in the power and plug in the satellite coax cable and was ready to go. Simple hookup, with lots of options (component video, coax, HDMI, S-video) and multiple inputs. Stand was preinstalled to the TV, so I was saved trouble of attaching. A wall mount is optional and sold separately.
Case - RCA jacks and other input is in back of the TV and is nicely covered by a removable panel. My TV is placed in an entertainment amoire which has limited width. Most TV's in this class have speakers on the side; the TC-32LX50 has speakers underneath the screen, which allows a slightly larger screen to be placed in the footprint.
Multi-function remote - I have too many remotes (don't we all?). As I have a Panasonic DVD/VCR, this remote (and the DVD remote) can control both devices. I'm sure they can control others too. The TV remote is simple and fits comfortably in the hand. I will probably keep that one for my wife to use as she is technically-challenged and doesn't like too many buttons.
All in all, a great TV. The picture is sharp and bright and has many set-up options to control the contrast, brightness, etc to simulate cinema, etc. The sound is good, but I will hook up to my stereo to achieve more depth. Not the cheapest product, but my wife liked the picture when compared to the rack of TVs at Circuit City, and the Panasonic name carries some weight.

no hesitation, buy it

Strengths: beautiful colors, narrow profile, low price

Weakness: none

Here's the process that transpired:

1) went to look at lcd's in stores. learned absolutely nothing. the pictures on all the models varied from great to awful, with no seeming pattern on price or brand. realized that all depends how the signal is they pipe into the models in the store, and the inconsistency of settings on each, they can easily make the lower priced ones look bad, and the higher priced ones look great, with the tweak of a few buttons

2) friend bought a panasonic and loved it, i went to see it, and had no complaints.

3) this panasonic model offered a narrow profile, with speakers on bottom, easier to fit into cabinet decor.

4) considered the sony bravia, but could not tell any difference in picture quality, and it was $1000 more dollars, which seemed to be on account of features i didn't need (tuner inside, not necessary, i was going to watch tv via cable, not over the air; a cable card feature to eliminate need for cable box, also useless as my local cable system doesn't work that way; and other memory card features that i was not going to use).

5) went for this one, got it from buydig.com for around $1430, it came overnight because they are close by. set it up, blacks are rich, colors are beautiful, viewing angles (stretched, kinda-stretched, normal, zoom) easy to rotate between with a click of a button. am 100% satisfied, am not thinking about the others at all.

note, make the best of your hdtv, don't use conventional coax or composite cables, go for the HDMI or component cables, get them for $10 on ebay.

Awesome HD TV!

Strengths: Easy setup; Outstanding HD picture (strong blacks); Lightweight and easy to install; Good remote; Speakers are pretty good for TV mount;

Weakness: None

I researched a few different LCDs and narrowed it to the Sony Bravia vs. the Panasonic Veira. The HD picture on the Panasonic is awesome and in the showroom looked crisper. The Panasonic TC 32LX50 was super easy to setup. I hooked it up to HD cable and the picture is breath-taking. DVD input at 1080i is great too! I would definitely recommend this TV.

Wow ! Great TV !

Strengths: Great picture and sound

Weakness: none

I got this TV for a few different reasons . I did research and it got good reviews, also liked the design...the speakers are on the bottom instead of the side so it fits good into my built in cabinet.
It swivels too, I wasn't aware of that..it's a plus.
Also cool is the black edges instead of silver.

LOVE IT!

Strengths: I dont want to go on and on, as I very well could, so I will put it as succinctly as possible. GREAT picture, GREAT sound, easy set up, easy to use..AWESOME.

Weakness: None so far, and I've had it for atleast 9 months to a year.

I initially went straight to Panasonic not only because of their great reputation, but because my boyfriend gets a $1000 discount because of where he works! I was immediately drawn to this model. I chose to get one with a grey/black 'border'. Easy to set up- strait out of the box. I purchased it from the Panasonic web site, and the guys who delivered it actually put it where it wanted it! Though this was probably due to my arm being in a sling at the time. I am continually amazed by the HD picture, and have to readjust my eyes to looking at reality because the resolution seems better on the TV! Do not hesitate to buy, you won't regred at thing!! GO GET ONE!

Panasonic 32" LCD

Strengths: Beautiful picture from standard signal. Ready to go right out of the box. No extensive set-up.

Weakness: User manual could be a little more detailed.

Great picture from a coax cable connection. Have not tried HDMI connection but expectations are the picture and sound will be even better. Picture quality from sharp angles does not diminish. Excellent stero sound. No bulbs to ever replace. Highly recommend.
