Not the best case for your Powershot S70Strengths: Leather case, smooth interior, Powershot logo. Weakness: Not a snug fit; no rooom for extra battery. I bought it for my brand new Powershot S70 and was disappointed to find that it does not provide a snug fit around the camera, especially at the top. The biggest disappointment was the absence of a spare battery storage, given the fact that one must carry at least one if he/she is planning on a daylong trip. Also, its design will not protect the camera from accidental bumps -- expect scratch protection only. Being made of leather, however, it does look good on the belt and surely it brags the Canon Powershot logo for those who love to display it. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Canon Soft Leather CaseStrengths: it is leather. Weakness: too lose. As I mention above, I think the price for this case is worth since this is a leather case, but the case is not exactly fitted with my Canon S70 camara. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Canon Soft Leather CaseStrengths: Case is lightweight and fits very well for a Canon S60. Smooth interior lining protects camera finish. Weakness: No space for spare battery or compact flash. Small portions of camera front and back are left unprotected. The case is a bit tight for the Powershot S45, but it's a very good fit for the Powershot S60 which can slide in and out of the case easily. Unfortunately, there are no exterior pockets or space within the interior for a spare battery and compact flash. Canon Soft Leather CaseStrengths: Looks great, fits camera, nice slim profile Weakness: Slightly tight for my S60, and belt loop is not what I expected It's a good case for the price, but the belt loop on this case is a very stiff piece of leather stitched to the back of the case, which basically creates a slit through which you can thread a belt. I guess I should've expected something like that, but since I don't wear belts, I was expecting something I could attach to the belt loops on my pants. Canon Soft Leather CaseStrengths: Nice and slick. Weakness: It would feel safer if the camera is covered completely. It is just the right size to take on a trip. Canon Soft Leather Case
Strengths: Nice Material.
Weakness: It fits snug from front to back, but leaves a lot of room for my S70 from top to bottom.
I thought that this bag produced by the Canon company would be the best bag for the camera. I was disappointed to find that it is not snug all around. Also, it does not cover the camera completely.
