Good Quality, Great Value

Strengths: Low Price Good Quality Just What I Needed

Weakness: none so far

I don't have anything to compare to, this is my first screen. I had been using a 4'x8' sheet of polystyrene that I'd painted as close to a screen color as possible. That was working for me, but I decided I'd like to be able to retract the screen when the nieces and nephews come to visit. I have seen some complaints that this screen comes unglued near the top and falls out of the housing. It was suggested by that reviewer that it might be good to not raise and lower it a lot. In my use, I leave it lowered almost all of the time. I don't know if that is a real issue or not.

Bottom line... I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase so far. I paid $120 delivered, from the lowest price found on Pricegrabber. It looks like they have it for about $6 less than that now. I give it 5 stars, based on the combination of quality (looks good to me!) and great value for the money.

100" screen

Strengths: Low Price

Weakness: None so far

In searching for this screen, I was reading a lot of reviews about screen manufacturers and, of course, I was looking for the best price. After finally making my choice, this screen manufacturer had two promotions around Christmas, free shipping and a price match policy. When I called the manufacturer, they said that Provantage's price was below their cost and they couldn't match the price but they could match the free shipping. Then the rep said, "If I were you, I'd buy it from them". So I did.

I ordered the screen mid December (my Christmas gift from my wife). I knew the screen would ship from a distribution warehouse near me, but when I found out that I would have the screen three days later, I was elated. Three days later, the screen arrived, but due to it being a Christmas gift, I couldn't open it until then. I opened and installed the screen Dec. 28 and after calibrating my projector, the picture is fanastic (much better than shining it on the wall). Thanks Provantage !!
