Weakness: Doesn't pick up many channels even when plugged into external ariel. Those channels it does receive are prone to break up and interference.
Plugged into an external ariel the Compro U80 picks up 27 TV & radio channels. It is missing a number of channels I can receive via a freeview box plugged into the same external ariel. The missing channels include the ITV, Channel4 and Five groups of channels. Those channels it does receive are prone to break up and interference. The supplied software (DTV) works well once I eventually got it to install.
