Great Product

Strengths: uses standard AAA batteries, no software required, good size, built-in laser pointer

Weakness: no mouse support

This wonderful little product is well-designed and perfect for PowerPoint presentations. The USB dongle, when not in use, is stored inside the main unit. No software is required to get the unit running; WindowsXP recognizes the dongle as soon as you plug it in. Using 2 AAA batteries means you won't have to look hard for replacements.

Throw away your projector's remote, this is all you...

Strengths: Well designed form factor, no software required for use, LCD timer and 'two minute warning' vibration feedback to pace your presentations, USB dongle stores in presenter, carry case included

Weakness: Does not work with Apple Mac or non-PowerPoint presentation software

This product simply does what it's supposed to and does it well, which is rare. The Logitech Cordless Presenter is a welcome companion to any projector and a definite replacement to the OEM remotes that accompany most projectors on the market.

The Cordless Presenter manages the basic navigation and presentation control commands for any PowerPoint presentation, such as 'blank screen', F5 (start presentation), advance and back. But that's not all. This device also includes a laser pointer, an LCD timer display which can be set to the length of the presentation and a vibration feedback warning that will alert at 5 adn 2 minutes from the programmed end of the presentation.

The Presenter has a 50 ft. operating range from the USB dongle and runs on 2 AAA batteries. The USB dongle snaps into the end of the Presenter so there is one less thing to misplace. The Presenter also comes with a protective sleeve which easily stows away nicely in any projector carry case.

This Cordless Presenter retails on the high side of the presentation remotes, but includes functionality that it's competitors lack. For my money, this device is a 'must have' for any mobile professional.

Logitech 2.4 GHz Presenter

Strengths: on/off switch, no software needed, usb storage in device, timer

Weakness: none to speak of

I've owned three other cordless presenters - the Logitech Trackman Live, the Logitech Bluetooth Cordless Presenter, and currently the Interlink Global Presenter. I purchased the interlink because I thought I would use the thumb-mouse to navigate with (I ended up rarely using it). What sold me on the new Logitech unit was - believe it or not - the timer! I hate (conspicuously) looking at my watch during a presentation, and there isn't always a clock in a convenient location. Now I have a timer right in my hand that tells me how much time I have left; and if I don't happen to look at it, it notifies me by a small vibration at 5 minutes and then again at 2 minutes. As for the other features, such as the F5 "Start Presentation" button, the "blank screen" button, the laser pointer, forward and reverse buttons, they work flawlessly (although my last presenter had this, too). However, this presenter is a bit more comfortable to hold than the Interlink, and costs about half the price. I'm sold.

Great product

Strengths: size not too small; easy to use with no driver to install; sleek look; timer is a definite plus

Weakness: timer only times in 5 minute intervals

I've only has this for about a month and have not officially presented anything yet using the product. But just playing with it at home I like it a lot. It is long enough to hold comfortably in your hand (a bit big for my small female hands but for guys this should be great) and the timer that vibrates in your hand is really great and seldom seen in other similar products. The buttons are intuitive and the hideaway ubs connector is nice too. Best of all it is from a reliable company with a very good price!

Logitech Presenter 2.4 Ghz

Strengths: Very compact and ergonomic

Weakness: No mouse support, price is high

Worked right out of the box, very compact and the usb doogle is stored right in the unit itself. I have used two other presenters and this logitech unit seems like the best of the three. Has a timer function built right in that is very useful. The carrying case is very nice quality.

Logitech Cordless 2.4GHz Presenter

Strengths: quality product by a well trusted name, Logitech.

Weakness: LCD does not have a backlight and does not have full mouse function.

This product was designed for people doing presentations and not for someone who wants a handheld mouse (if you want that buy something else). It is small (2.6 x 6.7 x 8.4 inches ; 8.0 ounces). Works well with PowerPoint, showing pictures, and Adobe. Standard AAA batteries are used and are even included (don't see that too often anymore) and has an on/off button to conserve battery power (can last over a year). The convenient neoprene case protects the device and the USB receiver is housed in the presenter. The laser works from distances in excess of 100'. Great for small, medium and big rooms, just stay within 50' of the computer. This device is priced than its competitors and also has a 3 year warranty. Good product, good price, good buy.

Logitech 2.4 Ghz Presenter

Strengths: Comfortable, AAA battery support, Simple and easy to use

Weakness: No mouse support.

This product is absolutely GREAT! It's simple to operate and use. Install batteries and turn on. You simply inset the USB dongle into your PC/laptop USB port and go! It requires NO software! You can easily use it between multiple laptops/PCs and never worry about loading software.

I have used it for about a month now and everyone that sees it and/or uses it for their Powerpoint presentation, asks me where to get one! It really is a handy little device, much like my USB Flash drive that I carry.

With your Powerpoint presentations on a USB flash drive and this Logitech presenter, you are ready for any presentation, big or small. A MUST HAVE for people that give presentations!

I like the F5 button to start my presentations and the "blank screen" button to "hold" my presentation ready. I haven't used the timer function, but it is nice to know it's there, if I ever need to watch my time for a presentation. The built-in laser pointer comes in handy every now and then and the buttons to advance and go-back a slide are very intuitive. It seem well built and feels nice in your hand, not too small or too big.

I don't miss the mouse support with this presenter, especially at this price point. But, if you need mouse support, this presenter is not for you, since it doesn't allow you mouse control.

Logitech Presenter

Strengths: Small and compact with built-in laser pointer

Weakness: None

This presentation tool is great. It has lightning fast response to button presses. The dongle fits right in the presentation tool itself. Take it out, pop it in the USB port, and bam! It works right away, no driver installation needed. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Logitech Cordless 2.4GHz Presenter

Strengths: insert the usb adaptor and ready to use; nice and easy; timer is fabulous

i bought this presenter for my friend as a gift because she will graduate this summer and now she has many interviews and presentations going on. she really likes it.

the presenter is very easy to be used, and nothing needed to be installed to the pc/laptop too. so you could use almost on any machine. and the adaptor could be inserted in the presenter whenever not used which will decrease the risk you loose it. the timer is cool too; it will vibrate when 5 min and 2 min left and when the time is over. the only drawback is the timer could only be set using 5min as the minimal unit, but anyway, it's definitely not a big deal. some people don't like the black screen function, but my friend does like it. because she said it could avoid her focusing too much on the pc screen.

in a word, it's such a good presenter. i will definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to give a presentation often.

A presenter remote that is extremely easy to use

Strengths: 1. extremely easy to use and plug and play; 2. timer function is very convenient 3. Stylish shape 4. built-in laser

Weakness: 1. does not have the mouse function; 2. F5/Esc button can stop the presentation but when you push it again, it will only start from the begining instead of the current slide. 3. a little pricy.

Overall, it is a very good product. No driver needed and plug and play. Extremely easy to use. The built-in laser and timer are really convenient. The buttons are responsive thought feel a little "hard" and "noisy". The signal is excellent. I even can control my powerpoint through a wall.
However, I do feel the "volume" button is not that useful. If you use F5/Esc button to stop the presentation, you can only start the presentation from the very begining when you push it again. I'd rather see another button that allows me to start the presentation for the slide that I just stop.

Cordless Presenter - Great Buy!

Strengths: Easy to use, no installation required, built-in timer, laser pointer, F5/esc button, blank screen button, volume control, 50-foot range

Weakness: timer can only be set in 5-minute increments

The Cordless 2.4GHz Presenter is a great presentation tool. By having a 50-foot range, a speaker is able to roam freely without having to be stuck to the computer. In addition, the Presenter can be used on any computer without installation. A great tool!

Great for non-technical people

Strengths: So easy to use

I purchased this for work where we have 10 check-out laptops and at least 500 users that with all different technical skill levels. I have not found one single person who has had difficulty using the device. Everyone has commented on what a wonderful find that product was. We now have an order to purchase 3 more!!

Awesome

Strengths: Check th dimension (4.7”*1.7”). Small-Stylish-Smooth touch and Solid performance.

Weakness: The receiver which is 1.7” long out of USB port can be smaller. When the receiver is not inside of the presenter, the storage space is open to air. (It doesn't looks good)

Small but big enough for grip. Stylish, Good feeing by smooth housing texture, light.
Well arranged buttons. on/off, volume and slide start buttons...useful vibrating alarm. Enough strong laser pointer. USB receiver stay in the presenter for carrying.
Plug and Play in a second. (no driver or software needed), Solid performance.
