Strengths: tv had an excellent picture.

Weakness: parts not available.

I purchased this tv approx 3years ago,it worked fine until 6 months ago ,the tv would not turn on,I sent it to the authorised service depot,after approx one month I was advised by the service depot that the parts needed to repair the tv were no longer available,I called Toshiba HQ I was advised by them that the part was in fact no longer available.
I now have a $2000.00 useless Toshiba Plazma Tv.

Good TV overall

Strengths: Good picture, Good features, Good price.

Weakness: Menu system, EPG, remote. So-so sound.

Really very attractive price for a 40" 120 Hz TV. Picture is good. I have compared it with Sharp E67 and Sony V5100. This TV, Toshiba 40XV645 is better. Black level is MUCH BETTER than Sharp E67 and the details are bette
