Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: easy to use. Good cord length.

Weakness: none.

I found the product to be of high quality. The ps/2 and usb plugs were very sturdy. Cable was of high quality compared to most low cost connectors. I was using the product with a cordless keyboard and mouse and a laptop running windows XP with no compatibility issues. I would definitely recommend this PS/2 (female) to USB connector.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: Works just as stated.

Weakness: Unnecessary mouse port for me. Takes up space.

Not much to say. The product does just what it states. I bought a new laptop with no ps/2 port so I bought the adapter. Works great.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: works well. no trouble with installation.

Weakness: N/A

I prefer to using a keyboard for my laptop when working at home. The adaptor is a good choice so that I don't need to buy a new keyboard with USB. I leave the mouse port unused but it still works well, at least when I tested that. No need to worry about the installation. Totally "plug and play". (my system is xp)

Surprised that you rated the adaptor only 3 stars since you didn't have anything negative to say about it.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: Easy to use.

Weakness: None

I purchased the generic version of this product and was very impressed. I just plugged it in to my computer, connected a keyboard and a mouse and both worked immediately without having to reboot. The adapter is pretty compact also, which is nice for travel.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: Easily adapts older mice and keyboards to work with laptops! (and in just one of your USB ports)

Weakness: None that I've found.

I am very excited by this product. I recently transitioned from an old desk top to a laptop (which I am very happy with) but I wanted to have options for extensive typing and mouse work - also I needed my 3 button + roller mouse. I didn't think I was ready to make a commitment to any of the mice out there, plus my old PS/2 mouse and keyboard worked just fine - so I decided to purchase this adaptor. The adaptor is such a great value. I just had to plug the items in and I was set. I didn't have to load any software and had no problems with plugging and typing/'mousing' when the computer was already on, or removing them and using the laptop's devices - or just using them interchangably while everything stayed plugged. If you have a laptop and are looking for another option for typing/'mousing' or are upgrading your computer and lose the ps/2 slots, get this product. I am very happy, and have been told I'm hard to please.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: Two ports. Converts any PS2 to USB.

Weakness: None.

I bought this product to convert a USB 2.0 power adapter from PS2 to USB because I don't have PS2 ports on my laptop. It worked beautifully. Windows XP recognized it as a mouse, since I plugged it into the green port, but it flawlessly redirected the power I needed to my USB 2.0 PCMCIA card and supplied the necessary power. I purchased from Tech Sunny and the shipping was free and EXTREMELY fast.

Hawking Tech. USB to PS/2 Cable Adapter

Strengths: This product works as promised. The shipper was very couteous and I am one happy shopper.

Weakness: It adds more cables to the exsisting system...... not too excited about that, but what can I do?

Recommended to people who has ps/2 based key board and recently upgraded their computer to an USB only computer.
I invested quite bit of money in ps/2 based keyboard and such, and I recently purchased a computer w/o ps/2 input. So this is my last resort.

Pretty good

Strengths: Easy to use

Weakness: Can drop data

I am relatively happy with this product. It is easy to setup and use. The only complaint is that when using it, the Windows clipboard somehow would loose items, so copying and pasting could be tricky.

USB to PS2 Adapter

Strengths: Worked as designed.

Weakness: None.

The adapter I ordered came on time and worked properly. I needed it to connect my old keyboard and mouse to my computer, which currently only had USB ports.
