GameShark Version 3

Strengths: has lots of cheats

Weakness: to get those cheats you have to enter them manually

It's ok. The thing is WAY too expensive. To get even the least of the frigging thing, you need to buy practically ALL of the accessories. It's way too complicated because of all these codes like 6543jfyd5rm30 and crap like that. It takes a disk AND some thing that takes up one of the memory card slots.

GameShark Version 3

Strengths: It does have good cheats for some games.

Weakness: It lacks cheat codes for a lot of games.

I bought one of these recently, only to find that it doesn't have codes for many of the games that I wanted. Even worse, of the games that it has codes for, some of them have subpar code support. For example, for Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, it doesn't have codes for infinite health. I mean, why would anyone bother using a game enhancer if it doesn't have infinite health? Anyhow, there WAS a much better game enhancer called CodeBreaker, which had really good support for nearly all the games out there. But since GameShark decided to sue them, CodeBreaker is no longer being sold. I guess that's reward you get for building a better product these days.
