Weak

Strengths: Sounds amazing, good sound/volume for the price

Weakness: blew this thing after 4 hours, then again after 2 months

This thing sounds awesome, i love it, i play with a fender jazz bass. The only problem is that i've blown it twice. The music store has replaced it both times b/c its under warranty, but its getting sort of annoying.

Blew my right speaker not even a month after getting it. Played a medium club venue with it between 1/2 and 3/4 vol. Started to hear a distinct "buzzing" from the cab and next day verified that the aluminum cone has crack/split from teh outer baffle! I play a 5-string and guess the low-B must've taken it out, but you'd think that a amp/speaker system DESIGNED to play a bass through would hold up when a bass is actually played through it! The only thing that that got played on this deal is myself! GUess I'll change out both POS speakers and get somethign that'll handle the bass without falling apart...just need to know what will work great in this cab. I wrote the company but got a weak "warranty" lesson response and when I re-contacted to request to order a speaker direct from them, I've yet to receive a response (been over a month)...must not want the business I guess!

Awesome sound, BUT!!!

Strengths: All the features you could ask for, and more. Awesome sound whatever type of bass you play. Not cheap, but has more for the same money than others.

Weakness: Speakers are not up to the frequencies that this amp gives out.

Bought from www.thomann.de.
Left hand speaker cone came away from the suspension mount after 5 weeks, right in the middle of a gig.
Replaced with a new one with no quibble (Thomann are very good to deal with).
New one had exactly the same problem after another 5 weeks, right in the middle of a gig. The symptoms are a farting noise coming from the speaker when played at anything passed practice volume.
The amp had never been played higher that 1/3 volume, and the sub-harmonic was used very infrequently.
When it was OK the sound was excellent.
