Iomega HDD 120GB : Very good BuyStrengths: High Speed. Easy to use.No need to install software ( xp/xp pro) I donno abt other OS. Weakness: the flashing blue LED is disgusting some times (but its good some times). The USB cable is short. I bought it long back so had to pay more. (1.16/GB). Now its cheaper. So get it. its a good buy. Some times when I leave the Hard disk plugged in while boot up, the system starts diskcheck, so remove it while you boot/reboot. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Iomega 120 GB External Hard Drive - 1 Pack
Strengths: It's very easy to install and use. Actually, no pre-installation is required for Windows XP.
Weakness: I couldn't judge what is the week point with this product.
I have a hobby on home video movie editing. Usually video data has large volume of data. It has been painful to back up those data on CD. So, I decided to buy this external hard drive for this purpose. When I placed an order, I was wondering if Firewire is necessary. Now I feel I made a right decision to buy this one with firewire interface supported because I realized that a transfer rate with firewire is much better than that of usb 2.0.
