Speakerphone Volume Unacceptable

Strengths: None

Weakness: Low volume on handset, volume almost inaudible from speakerphone

I was looking for a good phone system for when I work at home, with DECT so I could roam around the house and an attached handset to the base for privacy. With the first two conference calls I tired to take with the base speakerphone, I had to switch to the handset on the first and give up and go back to my old phone for the second. Never even got to the point of trying out the cordless handsets. This is going straight back to the store.

No Base-set battery

Strengths: Good sound and many options.

Weakness: A power glitch loses date on answering machine. Base so light that handset drags it when answering.

It is amazing to me that this phone doesn't keep the date from the Atomic Clock or at least have a battery to keep the settings once set. Why not one date & time for both the phone and answering machine?

Works Great!

Strengths: Easy set-up. Tons of features. Easy to use. Excellent sound quality.

Weakness: Initial sound volumn on handsets is set a little low. Lightweight materials used for handsets

I've had this phone system for about a week. So far I am extremely pleased and satisfied with it. It was easy to set-up and sounds great. The corded base station is perfect for my home office and the remote handsets let you place phones anywhere you need them--no looking for phone jacks. It also makes a handy intercom system for communicating between different rooms in the house.
