A good home theater projector
Strengths: Cost-effective, not too loud
Weakness: Speaker volume could be better and more accessible
This projector produces a bright and clear image, and provided it's used for playing games or watching movies - which inherently have sound throughout - the fan noise isn't too noticeable.
If you're hooking up your laptop/desktop to it, be warned that on any resolution above 1024x768, any normal text is barely legible. However, it functions quite well as a home theater system.
When hooked up to my roommate's laptop's audio out port, even on maximum volume, it can barely be heard. Hooked up to any gaming console, though, the volume at halfway is barely tolerable. Also, the volume control is tucked away in the menu. It would've been nice to put some on the unit itself.
The remote is barely larger than a stack of credit cards, which means it can probably easily be lost. But I don't use it anyway, so it doesn't really matter for me.
Bottom line - for an entry-level projector, this is a pretty good buy. It certainly spruces up an otherwise boring white wall.
