Yamaha RX-V3300 Receiver

Strengths: lots of inputs, good remote, well built, lots of features.

Weakness: only 2 component inputs

replaced my 10 year old $1200 yamaha rxv1070 (pro-logic).
paid $625 including shipping for a display model.
works great. many ways to adjust sound parameters.
plenty of surround modes. myriad of inputs.
i was so happy with my 1070 that i diddn't think home theater could sound so much better.
lighted remote is easy to use with multiple programmed components.
display is not easy to read from far away, but that's what the onscreen display is for.
130 watts with .8 dB dynamic head room is about the same as the 1070's 110 watts with 1.3dB head room, all good.
this was a no-brainer for the price i found.
