the product was recommended to me by a friend as i had told her about my bathroom remodeling. she let me use the product she had installed. received my fan/heat/light combo and installed in bathroom. works as well as my friend's(quietly and efficiently). am very happy with product.

Strengths: Very high quality build. Vents well, nice two-level light.

Delighted with the build quality of the fan. Would recommend this product to others. Remember it is large and should fit your surroundings. The two level light is nice at night and love how the heating element warms the room. Box it was shipped in protected fan well and it arrived in excellent condition.

Strengths: Awesome product. Very quiet and great performer.

Weakness: The exit side is difficult to adapt on flat roof houses.

The product was a little difficult to install since I was installing under a flat roof with no attic. Had to use some common sense and approached it from more a practical than an aesthetic point and got it installed and working well.

Panasonic FV-11VHL1 Ceiling Mounted Fan

Strengths: Unit is quiet and evacuates very well.

Weakness: I personally don't like the flourescent light bulbs even though they are energy efficient.

I can only compare this unit with the previous (nutone). The nutone sounded like a lear jet was warming up in the bathroom. The Panasonic is much more quiet and evacuates the air in the bathroom more rapidly. I really wish they would offer an incandescent alternative to the flourescent light bulbs. Flourescent light just makes everything, including me, look down right ugly. Then again, maybe I am.

Panasonic Bathroom Fan, Heat, Light & Night Light

Strengths: Venting, heat, light and night light all in one unit. Powerful and quiet blower. Wonderful heating unit for a small bathroom.

Weakness: Size. Make sure it will fit in your ceiling, between the joists and there is enough depth, without cutting into the floor above. Venting and installation cost.

Great unit!!! Quiet, powerful blower with the added convenience of a night and regular light. Not a good choice unless you are looking at new construction or complete remodel of the bathroom. Too big and you need four switches to control the various options.
