Great BatteryStrengths: Lasts longer than a standard battery Weakness: None This battery has really made a difference in my job functionality. I had to replace my standard battery because it was only lasting 20 minutes, so I decided to get the extended life 9-Cell battery. This battery lasts over 3.5 hours, and I do not have to worry about looking around for an outlet every time I pull out my laptop. Thinkpad Battery t40Strengths: gives solid 3 hours of work Weakness: heavy Excellent replacement specially for travel in planes. It is better to combine with another battery (instead of CD-ROM). Thinkpad T40/R50 Series 9-Cell Li-Ion BatteryStrengths: Was delivered quickly. Weakness: The product does not work as expected. When using the battery for the first time it charged to 97% Few days later it only charged to 69% and the days after that it has been decreasing slowly. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

IBM Replacement BatteryStrengths: works out of the box, allows me to roam the house now. Weakness: I bought two batteries, was charged $6 s/h each and they came in one box. Will buy again when a battery craps out. Great price and quick shipping. S/H may be a little high since I paid for each battery and they came in the same box. Quality productStrengths: Good quality replacement battery. High capacity. Very low cost compared to original IBM Weakness: None Rather than spending over $200 for an original IBM replacement, I spent less than $100 and got a very good quality product. ThinkPad T40 9-Cell Li-Ion BatteryStrengths: It works 2 to 3 hours longer than standard battery. Weakness: it is a little bit heavy when i bring it out with my laptop. i have my IBM T40 for about 5 years, and the battery life starts getting shorter,my standard 6 cell battery only last about 2 hours, it is so inconvience for me when I do my work without any plug beside me, therefore I decide to get a large capacity battery, and it works great so far, but just a bit heavy. Good BatteryStrengths: 9 Cell which gives 2 more hour than its little brother 6 cell Weakness: None I bought it for company laptop. Now, the laptop last more than 4 hours and can work my through 4 hour company meeting on mondays. It is a great "buy" for business purpose. IBM T40 9-cell Battery
Strengths: long battery life, compact size
Weakness: a little bit heavy
This is the 2nd battery for me. The first one is dying, although only 60 circles, but I can only charge it to half what original capacity is, even now system giving me red status on that old battery. I am thinking maybe I should not connect to the AC adapter all the time while I am working at home. But anyway, it has been running for 2-3 years, it’s about time anyway. This new battery I bought from the vendor listed in pricegrabber.com, the battery is excellent, and even has a little more total capacity than the 1st one. Maybe IBM has better technology now. In my opinion, the battery of laptop is very important, laptop is all about mobility, and only a good battery life can support that. I am happy with this new battery.
