Panamax 5300-PM review by a semi-techy

Strengths: - The amp meter measures how much electricity is being used which is very neat. - Has 11 outlets and a USB port which is very handy.

Weakness: Sometimes, my computer speaker won't turn on, but the standby light is on. I have to unplug then plug the power surge. This usually happens when I turn off the 3-5 channels.

Reason for Purchase:
I read reviews that people say this help the quality of sound. I never tested this yet. But because of the Brand, the number of outlets, and the theory that it helped the sound quality made me bought this power surge. I also wanted to make sure my power surge will protect my expensive system well. Lastly, it does looks nice especially with the numerical meters and the lights. It adds an extra sparks to your entertainment center.

Rating:
I gave 4 stars due to the weakness stated above. It's hard to rate this because I have nothing to compare to. As long as my system runs fine and I'm happy with the strengths mentioned above, then it would be a 5 star rating.
