Peerless Faucet P99596-SSStrengths: Great style and finish Weakness: Plastic gaskets and loose handles, not as well made as I hoped This is a great looking faucet. The nickel finish has a slight brownish patina which matches well in my kitchen. The faucet and sprayer function well, except for two things. First, the gasket underneath the base is made of plastic. I think rubber gaskets work best but I guess in today's world all gaskets are plastic. Second, the handles float above the base and seem very loose. You can actually rock the handle back and forth. I've tightened every conceivable screw or nut. Its just not as well made as I'd hoped. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great faucet but lousy sprayer
Strengths: Nice swivel action for the faucet itself. Don't have loose handles like other reviewer, but I agree that the plastic base versus rubber is not very good, needing to for sure use putty.
Weakness: Lousy, lousy, lousy sprayer. One & 1/2 year later, the sprayer head leaks, slowly, but it is leaking. Have tried every conceivable solution but finally gave up & removed it & capped off the connection
as stated, lousy sprayer. You would think they would come up with a better "mouse trap" after all these years of sprayers, whether it is Peerless (Delta), Price Feister, whom ever; they are all lousy unless you buy the dual action faucet and sprayer combo like Moen has had out for several years. I will give it to Peerless(Delta), today. I called them and complained about it, told them I finally capped off where it connects to the underside of the faucet so I could continue to use the faucet, and the customer service rep. was very very nice, and is sending me a replacement hose, sprayer and mounting holder. I doubt if I will put it on right away because I don't want to take another chance with a inferior sprayer product, but I have to give it to Peerless, they want to know and fix whatever the problem is and for that, I applaud them as a company!!!
