Sony CDX-R5715X CD/MP3 Receiver
Strengths: nice looking aluminum faceplate, manual flip down front panel for easy CD loading. I do not like the spring loaded front panel movement that most CD players have.
Weakness: Some features i.e. clock has to be set using remote. If you lose the remote you are out of luck.
I purchased from Crutchfield. Which included all required documentation to show how to install the unit to my specific vehicle and all required connectors to fit my vehicle. If other sellers were cheaper they did not include these items and once these items were added to the order they still did not include instructions and were slightly more expensive. This item installed quickly and is a good looking unit. It is xm satelite ready. It has many features including 7 simulated sound enhancement programs and can automatically program radio stations according to signal strength.
