Great Product, good going George==

Strengths: Ease of assembly, cooking, cleaning, cooking utensils included & product guarantee.

Weakness: None, other then if you would like a black grill cover over the aluminumn cover color offered.

Great price, easy to use and clean up afterwards. Electrical heating is a plus-plus. Thanks George for another Knock-out round, won! Oh, be sure to get the George Foreman Grill Sponges for easy clean up of the grill.

George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Electric Grill

Strengths: Ease of use. No messy charcoal. Quick to cook.

Weakness: Cleanup is a little tedious.

Well, pulled the trigger on this unit and overall, I am pleased. Taken, it is NO gas or charcoal grill and if you are looking for THOSE results, this isn't for you.

But, if you are looking for a quick, easy and healthy way to cook your outdoor (or indoor for that matter) meal, then this is the grill for you. I have had other Foreman products, and this one is just as good, if not better.

Have used it several times and the various things I have grilled always come out great. Cleanup is a tad more work than normal but otherwise, I think this is a great alternative when you just don't have the space or time to pull out the big grill. I just throw a wet paper towel on the grill after cooking and unplugging and let the steam evaporate to make cleanup easier.

Great to take camping also.

george foreman, a classic

Strengths: durable, easy to set up, large grill, indoor-outdoor use

Weakness: tastewise not very different than the foods cooked at broil setting in conventional ovens

apart from the similar taste of the foods cooked by conventional ovens; no cons are present for this grill. Of course I should say that I have bought this grill for $45. Thus unless you do not have a conventional oven that you can cook at broil setting, I would not pay more than $50 simply because being an electrical grill, you do not get the flavor that you get in a charcoal grill. Other than that the flexibility to use this grill indoor in addition to outdoors is a plus in particular for use in apartments, where charcoal grills cannot be used.

An excellet grill for those who like a grill that is...

Strengths: Easy to clean and well designed. Very easy setup. All the fat and grease will drain to a metal plate underneath. Can be used both indoor and outdoor. The meat taste great!!!

Weakness: Not very many weaknesses here. Maybe, the grill can be made a little more sturdy. You will not get the charcoal taste in your meat that you get from charcoal grill.

I got the grill on sale at a very cheap price. The meat is grilled without the mess of charcoal and tasted great too. I highly recommend this for those who need a quick fix. An excellent product for students and those living in an apartment because it is not too big and stored easily.

Good Grill

Strengths: Heats up quickly. Quick and easy clean-up.

Weakness: No thermostat to measure temperature while cooking.

This is a great grill for the money. I live in a high rise condo, so gas and charcoal grills are prohibited. This is the first time I've used an electric grill, and I'm very pleased with it. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Cleaning is a breeze. It would be nice if there was a temperature gauge on the hood of the grill, but, for the price, I'm not complaining.

Your grill scored a KO with me, George. Good job.

Would be helpful if anyone using this grill could comment if cooking meat like steaks, chops & ribs are tasteful?

Superb appliance

Strengths: Big cooking surface and easy to clean, easy assembly

Weakness: None I found so far

I bought this after we had vinyl siding installed at our house in the back, and the installer told us to keep the gas grill remotely away from the siding as the heat will melt the siding. I needed something else to replace the gas grill, and found this one at Costco. I was skeptical at first because I was so used to a gas grill, but I was amazed at the ease to set up and to clean the unit, plus to cook a meal for a family of five in one cooking due to its big cooking surface. The food turns out very juicy and not burnt. (I have kids and this is very important) I heard a lot of people like the George Foreman grills, but I think this is the best one by far.

It's a good product

Strengths: 4 stars

Weakness: no

Before I get into this review, we have to understand the product we are looking at: a George Foreman ELECTRIC grill. George Foreman products are essentially useful variations of hotplates. In this case, the hot plate takes the form of a grill (with a stand, a dome cover, a large cooking surface with raised grooves etc...).

That being said, this product caters to people (me) willing to try a product that is not a traditional charcoal grill, could be useful in smaller spaces/porches, looks like it is easy to use and clean up, could potentially cut some fat (never hurts, right?), and seems like it will work well as a good back-up grill or a quick solution to throwing mini-bbqs requiring even heat distribution without the hassle of buying/lighting/dumping coal. If that's you, then read on...

The ONLY WAY to Grill and save time, work & money!

Strengths: Always ready, easy clean-up, cooks fast, no mess

Weakness: Cover hangs a little awkward, dial is not too easy to turn.

I bought this unit 2 years ago with some trepidation. However, this is the ONLY WAY TO GO! Cooks beef, hamburger, steaks, bacon QUICK AND EASY! Clean-up is a breeze and this unit is ready when you are! NO regrets and my chef hat is off to GEORGE!!! GOOD ONE GEORGE!

George is the man!

Strengths: Very easy to clean, can grill both indoors and outdoors, easy to transport, warms up in minutes

Weakness: none

My roommate has had this grill for quite some time now and although I've only used gas and charcoal grills before he moved in, I'm very impressed with this Foreman. Warming it up is as simple as the twist of a dial and the meat always tastes great! Cleanup is easy as everything drains to a metal plate underneath it and it really makes cooking a quick dinner simple and fun. I highly recommend it.

Worth for the Money

Strengths: Indoor and Out door

Weakness: Greasy

I have since used it indoors without the stand, making it convient on rainy days. It is the easiest grill to use and clean that we have ever owned. You can cook everything evenly, because there are no coals to level out. It can easily hold 4 to 5 steaks, 10 big hamburgers, and the list goes one. I am sure there are some drawbacks to those that swear by gas/charcoal grills, but my gas grill has found a permanent residence in our shed, while George sits ready to use at any time indoors or out on our back porch.

George Foreman Stand Grill

Strengths: Price, brand quality, customer service

Weakness: Part broke upon assembly

When this shipped the part of the lid that attached to the grill itself arrived broken. I called customer service and they were very friendly and helpful, send the broken part(s) right out.

That said I love cooking on this grill, there is nothing to dislike, except as other reviewers have stated the stand itself is unstable and needs to be modified. We'll see how durable it is and how it holds up.
