Strengths: Solid build, reliable, relatively quiet, multiple connections, easily swappable drives.

Weakness: A little bulky, slight vibration noise.

I purchased this drive as a replacement to a horrible experience with another external backup drive (read my review of my WD MyBook experience). At the time, this drive was about $100 more than it is now and very hard to find, but it was worth the trouble. My only real complaint is that it has slight vibration noise that is remedied by squeezing the case a bit when it happens and it goes away. The case is incredibly well built and entirely aluminum (or some other metal) and not plastic like some others which means the case is a heat sink. My "other" drive had fans that drove me crazy! My only other complaint is that this drive is now nearly full and last time I checked (which was a while back) the cost of buying 2 new drives to swap out costs just as much as a new unit with case so why bother? Overall I am happy with my decision and recommend this based on my experience so far.
