Great TV for tight spaceStrengths: 1080p sharpness, great color rendering right out of box, bright screen no reflection. Built in qam tuner. Weakness: PC connection a little tricky, see below for details. I bought this TV mainly to take full advantage of my recently purchased 1080p camcorder, and now I am obviously more addictive to TV shows than ever before. Thanks to the built-in QAM tuner, I realized that my household already have over 20 clear QAM HD channels comes free through my current cable. What a gift! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Great TV!Strengths: Full 1080P, spectacular image, great looking, and pretty thin! Weakness: Price as compared to some other 32-inchers. Speakers are a bit lacking. A pretty thorough search for a new 32" flat panel television led me to the Sharp AQUOS LC-32D64U. I had two conditions that were a must: 1) the television was capable of full 1920x1080p resolution and 2) it could be hooked up to a computer at full resolution via HDMI. This television met both criteria, although the set's manual does not indicate that it is capable of the second requirement (it mentions the max resolution being around 1600 x something or other - I don't recall off hand, but you can download the manual from Sharp's website if you're curious). The oversight in the manual (and a follow-up call to an apparently uninformed Sharp customer service rep) almost caused me to look elsewhere. Fortunately, another kind soul had already posted a review stating that he was using the television as a computer monitor set to 1920x1080. Indeed, once I finally got it hooked up and reset the computer's resolution to 1920x1080, it worked perfectly! Very nice! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Sharp Aquos LCD TVs are exceptionally goodStrengths: Great picture in a very small form factor Weakness: Needs a strong input signal to get the best picture. Wish there were separate coax inputs for cable and antenna. I believe the entire line of Sharp Aquos LCD TVs offer the best bang for the buck [I also own a 37" and 52" Aquos]. Love the picture quality and the non-glare screen that eliminates reflections in my brightly lit family room. No other 32" LCD TV could fit in my entertainment cabinet other than this Sharp TV with the ultra-thin bezel. The reduced weight is an added bonus. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Great 32" 1080p TV, perfect for those who need a...Strengths: 1080p, 2000:1 static contrast ratio, many color adjustments, decent number of hdmi, component, composite inputs, decent 15w X 2 speakers, no coil noise, extremely thin and small Weakness: Only 2 HDMI ports, picture not quite as good as some higher end 1080p tvs such as the Sony 32" 1080p, Size is actually 31.5" This an extremely good tv for the price. It's not the best 32" 1080p all around as some other companies have made equal or better ones, but it's great for under $800. This is a tv you should be purchasing as a computer monitor as well. I've tested various games and it works quite well. It's also very thin and low weight for it's size. This makes it handy to stick on desks. Do not get this tv if you're just looking for a standard tv, get it if you need a monitor, a game console tv, or something small for the bedroom. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Sharp AQUOS 32" 1080pStrengths: 1080p, excellent visuals, can fit in most places, glossy look Weakness: Some people would supplement the TV with external speakers. I purchased this TV 3 months ago at a great price. I have a PS3 so I'ved used this TV's 1080p capability by watching blu-rays. The picture and sound are crystal clear. This TV can also double as a computer monitor. I have pretty much used it daily (especially as a monitor) and have not had any problems. It's 32 inch size and slim design can fit in most places. It's not too heavy and can easily be moved around. It matches well with my PS3 because both have a glossy black and chrome finish. There are many visual modes to switch to depending on what you're watching (movie, sports, game, PC). It also does not produce much heat (or use up to much energy). 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Sharp Aquous 32d64uStrengths: Bright, sharp, crisp picture at 1080p and 720p, a nice amount of inputs, decent speakers, makes for a very big PC monitor, light weight, one of the few models that support 1080p at this size. Weakness: Smaller than I expected when compared to my 32 in CRT I had done extensive research on this TV and took a while before I took the plunge for it. At first I was worried about the banding issue inherent in Sharp models due to the uneven backlighting. But after plugging it in I could not find anything of that sort. Watching HD channels, bluray, ps3 games is amazing the pq is so vivid and crisp! Not having to deal with reflections has been a blessing on my eyes as well. 90% of readers found this review helpful. Aquos LC-32D64U ReviewStrengths: Excellent picture Good selection of inputs Weakness: No support for 1080p on the PC input An excellent 1080p television. Since buying it, I've used it to play PS3 and Xbox 360 games, and watch DVDs. It performs wonderfully for all these tasks. Even the speakers, which I expected to dislike, perform well. 80% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Good product (AQUOS LC-32D64U 32" LCD TV )Strengths: * Picture quality is pretty good. * it has enough HD receivers * It even has a PC input that I can hook my computer. The effect is good too Weakness: * Can't receive any HD program without cable or directv etc * Manual information is not very clear. I can't setup my dvd player and vcr player through the bundled remote control. I paid less than $800 for this product. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Sharp LC-32D64U Aquos
Strengths: 1080p output. Clear crisp images. Connected a Samsung 1080P7 DVD Upconverter (bought it during the format wars) w/ HDMI - Excellent display. Optical audio output. OCP is a plus as well.
Weakness: Limited access to inputs when mounting to wall. Wii via component cable pixelates (can only display up to 480P, so more of a Wii problem). Huge remote. Limited sleep timer options.
Did a lot of research before buying this bad boy. I looked at LGs, Samsungs, Sonys, Panasonics, etc. Sharp is the only company I found that suited my needs in regards to watching movies, TV, and gaming.
Have yet to experience full HD on it, haven't shelled out the dough for a Blu-ray player, although DVD upconversion looks awesome. Built in speakers are decent as well, although there is a slight delay if I match them w/ my 1000W surround via optical causing an echo. As I said above, the Wii looks better via composite audio/video than it does on component cables.
Very pleased with my purchase so far. As Weevah states the inputs can be labelled to pre-sets for easier selection... but nothing very detailed beyond 'Satellite', 'DVD', etc.
Hope this helps in selecting one of the best mid-sized LCDs on the market.
