You get what you pay for

Strengths: Price.

Weakness: Poor output quality, over complicated instructions, single frame at a time scanning (vs. scanning a strip of film), lots of settings that have little effect

Average of 40% of the scans are out of phase for color.
Dust/Scratch repair is about 75% effective when it works.

So complicated I can not recommend for novice. Such poor output I can not recommend for advanced user.

My computer: custom build, Dual core, 2GB RAM, XP, not running any other programs, etc.

I wish I could return this and buy something else.
