Panasonic ER411NC Nose/Ear Trimmer

Strengths: Cheap, Durable and it Works.

Weakness: Pulls hairs and can be a little painful.

It does the job very well. It has caused a couple snags here and there, but overall, it's been great. Don't try to hold it too close to the skin. I've used other trimmers before, and this one is as good as it gets.

Don't get the expensive nose hair trimmers from Brookstone or Shaper Image, they're way over-priced and don't work any better. Get this one from a local electronics store or online. I got mine at J&R for about $15.

Strengths: Nice ergonomic design, easy to use, NO HAIR PULLING=NO PAIN!!

Weakness: None so far

If scissors can't do the job, then the Panasonic ER411NC is the gadget for you. It is very easy to use, although it does produce a slight tickling sensation which takes a little getting used to. The best thing about this gadget is you will experience no hair pulling. It simply trims without the blade pulling on the hair like other devices. Takes one AA battery to operate. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone who is looking for a personal trimmer.

Strengths: works very well...trims smoothly and very easy to clean.

Weakness: gets hot if used for too long.

i had one of the older panasonic trimmers and also a norelco. the shavers on those were a little weak, but this one is built very solid and the trimmer is very strong and seems like it'll last awhile.

Strengths: Safely cuts nose hair closer than most similar products, BUT ...

Weakness: More fragile than it looks! It cannot withstand the slightest physical shock whatsoever. Drop it once, and it's KAPUT!

I'm buying my third in two years because it works so well for the price, but do NOT put it on a shelf where it could roll over or be knocked over, and be careful not to drop it. Incredibly, a little fall from your hand onto the sink or vanity is enough to kill it!

Strengths: Good Quality, Long Battery Life, Use Dry or Wet.

Weakness: Price.

This is one of the best Hair Care product made by Panasonic. Full with great features, like very small size, long battery life and well built.
Most of all, you can use it without any cut or mark to your skin, It will cut the hair close to skin without any hairpull.
Its not a big deal, but I think this is little bit expensive compare to the other ones in the market.
But overall it is very good and reliable product to have.

Strengths: Inexpensive, compact, replaceble battery, and it does work!

Weakness: Cheap looking, not sharp enough.

I've had it for more than 3 months. Not use it too often, but it works!
However, from time to time it hurts and tickles the inside wall of my nose, as it's not sharp enough.

Other than that, it's good product!

This is my first groomer, so I don't have a basis for comparison. I haven't tried it in the ear and wonder how loud it is... But for trimming nose hair it works fine and is exactly up to my expectations.

I bought this groomer after I had read all positive comments about it on amazon. I had been using a small scissor very carefully before. I thought with this groomer, I do not need to worry about getting hurt. I guess my expectation was too high. The groomer works fine and trims some hairs. However, from time to time it hurts and tickles the inside wall of my nose. Moreover, the groomer pulls hair very often. My eyes water from tickling and pulling. It seems that it hurts worse when you try to cut hairs stuck to side walls of the nose. If all your hairs stand away from nose wall, this one probably works well.

Strengths: Does it's job and trims the hairs away!

Weakness: Tickles a bit, and slight pulling of hairs.

I've tried using scissors before, but this is much easier to use in less amount of time. Solid product by Panasonic but the price I believe is still a bit steep.

I have tried another trimmer and this one does a better job of trimming without pulling or pinching. I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

Works well and is very quiet. Does the job that is required. Waterproofing is a great feature. Should have come with a battery. Much more efficient than the old one that I used to have.

Strengths: Good ergonomic design for the hand. Trims easily. Much safer and easier to use than scissors or hand-operated trimmers.

Weakness: Somewhat discomforting buzzing sensation in nostrils while using. Unit heats up rather quickly.

This replaced a similar Remington nose trimmer—their simple, original model that's no longer made. This Panasonic did not measure up to that one in any catagory, but will be a satisfactory replacement. I'm glad to have it. I think that a rotary, battery-operated trimmer is the only way to go.

I was going to order the item at J&R Music and Computer (the lowest price PriceGrabber listing), but then found out it was actually out of stock. So, I ordered it (believing it would be in-stock) from Amazon.com, at a slightly higher price but had to wait for 21/2 wks. anyway...

Strengths: Size - it fits into places no others would attempt to go.

Weakness: Cuts on sides, not on tip.

This is the minimum I expect for a nose hair trimmer. It is well constructed, easy to use, the right size to hold in the hand. Its major shortfall would require a design more like the Norelco shavers, to cut on the end, not just the sides.

nice overall product...would definatelly recommend it..easy to maintain and very durable. I have settled on the Panasonic model which is well priced and does the job right.
