The ear plug

Strengths: Blocks out must outside noises..

Weakness: Can't seem to keep it in my ear with out the ear hook that goes around the ear.

Very nice product. The extra ear plugs they sent u,could not find one that would fit and stay in my ear right.Had to use the ear hook that came with it.But other than that it works great.Hear real good.Like I said cancels most noises out.Would like more choices and sizes on the ear plugs they send u.Everyones ears are different.

Excellent Bluetooth headset

Strengths: Clarity and size

Weakness: Volume controls not that convenient not well shielded from wind noise

I have a hearing loss due to too much rock and roll; therefore, a noise eliminating and clear headset is a must.

I went with Bluetooth due to the inconvenience of wired headsets. The clarity on the Jabra sets were less than marginal; however, the earpiece and clarity of the Voyager 815 is excellent. It is very easy to hear over car noise, but when talking in the wind the 815 does not do too well.

A follow up on the 815 Voyager.

I still am impressed by the performance of the 815, but now am impressed with the durability.

I have sent my current 815 through the washer in the pocket of my pants twice ( I know dumb!!!), but after drying in a 170F oven for about four hours it continues to work as new.

I am pretty sure my warranty is void, but I am just impressed the little sucker still works.

Plantronics Voyager 815

Strengths: Bluetooth 2.0, 7 hours talk time, can be worn without ear loop, sliding boom mic

Weakness: ear bud style may be uncomfortable for some, unstable without ear loop

I wanted a headset that could be quickly worn without an ear loop and the Voyager 815 seemed like a good choice. I don't like the fit and hassle of behind the ear style headsets.

What's inside the box: Bluetooth headset, noise isolating ear buds (S, M, L, Foam), 2 optional ear loops, AC charger.

The feeling of the ear bud took a while to get used to, but it does isolate sound very well. It fits snugly, but sometimes I can feel it falling out. Especially during lengthy conversations or when I'm lying down so I'll have to readjust. But for quick calls it's fine. I like the 7 hours talk time and 160 hours standby time - good battery life for such a small headset. The boom mic improves call quality but sliding it out can cause the headset to become loose. It has a mute button, volume rocker, and multi-function button. The controls are easy to press and intuitive. For example: You can use voice activated dialing by pressing the multi-function button for 2 seconds. Or press it twice to redial the last number you called. Very handy! Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Great sound quality, light just like a feather!

Strengths: Good sound quality, very light weight

Weakness: Should put in the ear?

I've been used four bluetooth headsets. This is the best one I've used so far. I also tried Voyager 520 which is very popular, but in terms of sound quality and weight, this Voyager 815 is better. (I also tried Discovery 665 and 655). Also it has very cool design and extendible microphone is a nice feature.

And I have a very small ear, but there are three ear-piece so I tried the smallest one and it fits to me. So you don't have to worry about if it fits your ears.

One more good feature is you can use it with both your ears. Sometimes, if you wear this headset for a long time, it could bother you. But Voyager 815 allows you to wear it on your another ear. So it's very comfortable to use.

Although both Voyager 520 and 815 supports bluetooth 2.0, 815 has better sound quality and allows you to far away from your cell phone.

If you don't mind to wear headset inside your ear, this is the best product for you. But if you don't, I recommend you to try Voyager 520.
