HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Good color, good price

Weakness: Refurbished

I ordered this from Omnipro. I didn't see anywhere on the order that it was a refurbished cartridge until it arrived at my house. However, it works as I would expect it to work.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Brilliant color prints, true to life colors

I love printing my photos. I have an hp psc 2410 photosmart printer, and I've been printing on HP premium photo paper. The 58 photo cartridge is used with the 57 tri-color cartridge in place of the 56 black cartridge. The photos have very crisp images and colors. They appear slightly different from traditionally processed photos, but I think they're better. I'm an avid scrapbooker and I'm thrilled at the ease and quality of printing my own photos.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Price, quality, compatibility and ease of availability.

Weakness: Doesn't print too many pages. Needs the HP 57 cartridge to be used to its full potential.

Good ink at a great price. I bought it from BuyDig.com and they were very professional, very reasonably priced, and very fast with the delivery (2 days). This works great along with the HP 57 cartridge.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Brilliant pictures, easy to use

Weakness: NA

It prints very good quality pictures. The colors are very close to real life colors. It comes with a cartridge holder that is very convenient to keep the cartridge when it is not in use.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: The photo printed using this cartridge is perfect! Better than any Epson or Canon photo printers I ever used. Even when you stare at the photo really close, you wont notice any grain.

Weakness: Ink seems consume faster than Canon, but overall cost still OK.

Great product! Considering the great quality and convenience, this beats every other solution or other brand photo printers. According to my calculation, ink cost for this catridge is about 20 cents for each 4X6, so it is not bad at all.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Good color definition, realistic color, easy to use.

Weakness: None so far.

Bought from Monarch Technology Inc. for use in HP PSC 2110 printer. The price was good & delivery was fast. I am impressed with how easy it is to get professional photo printing results at home on my printer. This is definitely the way to go. It's actually fun to print my pictures & get superior color & definition.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Prints high quality photos. Easy installation. Good price.

Weakness: Make sure your printer can use this in conjunction with hp57.

I bought this from databazaar and they are very good. I got it in 3 days and for a good price. Would buy from them again. So far I am impressed with this cartridge. The photos look really vibrant and crisp. But make sure your printer can use this in conjunction with hp57 color cartridge. I use this in my hp 2210 and it works great!

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Beautiful photo printouts. Genuine HP, for "safety" (compatibility, quality, etc.).

Weakness: Higher-priced than the generic inks available for Canon and Epson. Longevity (decades of fade-resistance) is unclear because ink appears to be dye-based rather than pigment-based.

We used this in an HP Photosmart 7960 printer. The couple of photos we have printed look absolutely beautiful.

Costwise, though, I am used to the low-priced generic inks available for Canon and Epson printers. It appears that for HP, even more than for Canon and Epson, the least expensive approach is often to wait for a special deal on a new printer, then buy it just for its ink!

Also, this ink appears to be dye-based. Will it last as long as the pigment-based inks now used in many newer printers?

HP (Hewlett-Packard) No. 58 Photo Ink Cartridge

Strengths: Easy to install. Easy to store.

Weakness: None.

I can see a big improvement in the color and quality in my photos when I use this cartdridge in addition to the 3 color cartridge in the printer. Glad I bought it.
