8800 gts PNY 512 mbStrengths: Fastest GPU for the money Runs cool Weakness: BIG I bought one of these GPU's to replace a stock Geforce 8400GS and it didnt disappoint. Installation was a breeze but you'll need alot of space as this is a big card-- but thats a good thing because its more efficient and runs cooler than single slot cards. I can run Cyrsis at almost full settings with this bad boy- and theres not much at this point that this card cant conquer- Im currently watching HD dvd's with it and using my 32" LCD as a dual monitor setup!! Highly recommended!! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

PNY 8800GTS
Strengths: Excellent FPS... strong gaming performance, tears my games up! Colors, speed, quality all topnotch. If you need something that can handle graphics intensive applications, this is your card!
Weakness: Requires at least 400w with 26A on 12v. In theory, my psu had enough juice, but it was just a 400w, so I upgraded to be safe. It's 9" long, so may be too long for some cases.
Just an update since I've had longer to evaluate... AWESOME video card, absolutely recommend... powerful and great quality and the picture/graphics are best to-date in any system I've owned. I would definitely recommeny PNY for quality and reliability. Rest of comments below from original, but wanted to add the above update.
Bottomline, best graphics card I've ever owned. As stated, it is 9" long, but does fit in my Gateway compupter case just fine. If you're going back-n-forth between the 8800GTS and the 8800GT, go with the GTS version. Better performance, more power, better cooling, and with the way these are coming down in price, a can't miss upgrade. This card really is all about power... If my machine could handle SLI, sadly it doesn't, I'd definitely add another one of these. Absolutely perfect... running with a LG 22" monitor & a Q6600 quad core w/ 4gb sys ram and no troubles whatsoever. Great buy, definitely recommend!!!
