good budget camear

Strengths: good picture quality, small, easy to use

This is a good entry level camera. I got it for my kids. They loved it and it endured quite some abuse in the Summer. The picture quality is good.

Zoom is too small, working like a toy camera

Strengths: small, sleek, not very pricey

Weakness: zoom is very small compared to other cameras with 3 optical zooms. Very surprised. the picture quality is poor, especially under low light.

I got this camera at very cheap price, but I am still not happy with it. Maybe I am just expecting too much. It was originally a gift for my nephew, but decided to keep to myself finally. The small Zoom is very annoying compared to my Sony H2. quality, including the color and sharpness, is very poor. I would just use it as a disposable camera. Nikon digital camera is a disappointment to me.

Great Camera

Strengths: easy of use, greatpicture quality, small and portable

Weakness: style is a bit too conservative

I bought this one for my parents. They found it to be very easy to use and the picture quality is pretty good for the price. Speaking of price, it's really inexpensive.

It's a very good camera for the price. Takes excellent pictures. easy to connect and transfer photos. Have a face detection feature and will let you know by displaying a warning message if the photo comes out blurry.

Is really small and light weight so easier to carry with you anywhere you go.

Excellent entry camera at low price

Strengths: low price. Nikon name

Weakness: not able to set it manually

Low price under $100 yet it gets 6 megapix and 3x zoom. On top of than you get a Nikon. Nice streamlined body design and I like the black color. It uses 2x AA batteries which is both bless and curse. Buy NiMH batteries. The included alkalines are a joke.

Strengths: Compact, Low price, AA Batteries, Color and feel

Weakness: Time lag between pictures and a bit of a picture quality, No View finder

This is a very good quality compact cheap digital camera. Picture quality is okay. On screen picture editing was cool(took a picture is a bit low light area and there was an option to increase the lighting on the screen and it did a pretty good job). In a way 2 AA batteries are better but they are non rechargable. So need to get some rechargable batteries. No view finder is a break when u r low on the batteries. Could have been better if the optical zoom was a bit higher, only 3x.
Overall good quality camera.

Weakness: Takes time to take photos in a series

Good compact point and shoot camera. It is very affordable, and produces quality 6mp photos. It got only 3x optical zoom. It would be nice if it have more optical zoom.

A Handy Camera for Starters

Strengths: low price, good picture quality, internal memory, SD memory card

Weakness: AA batteries

Get this as a replacement of my Canon SD 100. Almost similar size but a different style. It happened to me sometime before when I forgot to put the memory card in camera. I cannot even take a single picture. This will not happen for this new baby. I have been used to the rechargeable battery coming with camera. I don't like AA batteries. Although it's common, but I doubt the quality does matter when it's used in camera. I also have some spare SD cards around so I don't need invest more on card for this camera.

Strengths: Face-Priority AF model is nice

Weakness: the design is not so nice

I like the face-priority AF function provided by this digital camera. Besides, it offers so many shotting models by this camera, so it really makes the life easy because I am a lazy one and just want to use the existing functions but get sufficient good quality. Although the writing delay of this camera is a little higher than others, it is also related with which type of SD card you use. Nikon's camera usually have good photo quality, so we don't need to worry about that.

Strengths: The quality of the picture is good

Weakness: Night model is not so good

I like Nikon's cameras. The picture taken by this camera has high quality. The color is very good after printed or viewed on the computer. If the LCD monitor is larger it will be better. Another problem of this camera is that it works not as good as Canon ones in night model.

Strengths: Very Compact, Outstanding price, 6MP, Video mode, face detection, starts up in less than two seconds

Weakness: poor digital zoom, less menu options, AA batteries, slow flash recycle time

This is very stylish and extremely compact camera. Picture clarity is outstanding. It is 6MP with only 3x optical zoom. It takes 2 AA batteries - I think this is a downside because I am used to rechargeable battery comes with the camera. However, this is a positive feature for some people who do not like to spend fortune on replacement batteries and easy AA availability. It has a very nice feature of face detection but the menu options are a little limited. Overall, this is excellent camera with tons of features and very small price.

Strengths: Excellent Camera for starters. I like the style and compactness.

Weakness: little poor performance in indoor shots, but with proper white light it looks ok.

This uses AA batteries which is a common type. Very high quality pictures outdoor and great images with bright light indoor shots.dont see much of red eye issues. The software makes it easy to transfer to PC. Overall it is a great camera for the buck.

Great little pocket shooter

Strengths: Small size, good quality pictures and movies (outside). Great lens. Nikon quality. Great price.

Weakness: No optical viewfinder. Slow to take shot-to-shot. Has trouble focussing under low light. Relatively weak flash.

Bought this for the pocket when something bigger won't do. It fits the bill perfectly. Not a high end, but what do you expect for the price? Takes wonderful pictures outdoors and good ones if you're close indoors. The flash is a little weak, but it only runs on 2 AA batteries.

If you need a good, inexpensive camera for the pocket, this is a great choice (especially compared to similarly priced models).

Best Camera Under $100

Strengths: This camera is easy to use and lightweight. The black is also attractive.

Weakness: Doesn

If you need a camera for basic photo taking this is your best choice for less than $100. Small and lightweight, it fits easily into my shirt pocket. However, the quality of the print is good enough if your focus is prints.
