Good Headphones

Strengths: Good sound quality (good highs and good bass levels). Fairly long cord. Build quality good, with exceptions noted below.

Weakness: Slight head and ear discomfort after long (45min+) sessions. Faux leather earcups starting to deteriorate after 3 years of very light use (I have 2 pair - deteriorating on both).

Fair price for the audio quality (worth $35-$45). MPIO card-based MP3 player (1-AAA battery) can drive these with good bass, but must be turned up to about 70-90% volume. I am currently looking for another pair of headphones, looking at Sennhauser, but I might stick with these because of the price of the Senn's. I would recommend these as high quality MP3 player or computer phones, and as a mid-range home receiver phone.
