samsung ln-t4069fStrengths: fantastic picture on hd and standard plus dvd Weakness: can't control comcast box with remote The picture is great right out of the box with all kinds of control for the picture and sound if you need it. The remote is lite for a dark room and the menu is good. I was going to buy a Sony but found the picture and sound better here. I love the 120hertz. and the blacks are really black . I also like the no reflection screen. Buy this -it's the best for the money! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung LN-T4069FX - Awesome LCDStrengths: 1080P, easy installation, smaller width than Most LCDs/Plasmas in 40" size, built in HD tuner and great specifications which translate to great performance. Weakness: Occasional choppy graphics from poor antenna signal strength and/or triple ball effect. This is my first LCD HD tv and in my opinion the best value for the money when compared to all the others in this size range. The picture is amazing, the connections are plentiful, easily accessable and installation was seamless. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The Samsung LN-T4069F (aka LN-T4069FX)Strengths: Unbelievable picture. Easy setup. No glare on the screen. Great at any viewing angle. Weakness: Sound is slightly muffled, but no complaints. Just a great TV. Just got it and even the plain DirecTV picture is a wonder to behold. The 120MHz really allows rapid movements of the screen to look almost 3-Dish. And this is with a non-HDTV DirecTV receiver. Watched Law and Order on it, and it seemed that the actors could almost jump out of the picture with the flawless movements. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Great Choice!Strengths: Picture clarity, anti-glare screen, remote control Weakness: Not sure if the 120-GHz technology is up to par yet; don't like the heat-sensitive controls I ordered this TV after months of research. I wanted a TV that offered the best picture quality, but not cutting edge technology and at a price that I could afford. Overall, we're thrilled with our choice! The picture quality is tremendous, the remote is easy to use, and the set looks great in the living room. We're not fans of the touch controls (not buttons) on the frame, as our kids of learned to use them...also, not sure we understand the 120 GHz technology, but we're willing to wait for firmware upgrades to work out the kinks. Overall, the 4069 is a winner in our books! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung LNT4069FStrengths: Great high definition picture! Standard television looks good as well. Lot's of input options! Weakness: None noted so far. After researching a 40-42" high definition purchase for over three years, I finally decided on the LNT4069. It's color saturation is fabulous with vivid colors, deep blacks, and great contrast. There are plenty of input options. Not sure about the speakers as I use a home theater system for my sound. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung LN-T4069F - worth every penny!Strengths: Amazing picture, no glare (even near our patio door w/ the blinds open), wide viewing angle w/ no distortion, surprisingly good sound, compact size, and number of inputs. Weakness: Remote doesn’t allow me to quickly choose a specific source, digital audio output doesn’t really work as expected (disabled when using HDMI), PIP only works w/ analogue input from coax connection. I spent a year comparing TVs; researching to figure out what features I wanted and waiting for the TVs w/ those features to fall into the price range I was looking for ($1500 - $2000). I decided right away that I wanted an LCD rather than a Plasma TV, which seems to have been a sound decision given the fact that most manufacturers are putting the bulk of their energy into developing bigger & better LCD TVs these days and there are far fewer Plasma TVs on the market than there was even a year ago. My main concerns for Plasma where the high energy usage, screen burn, and that it’s a more fragile unit than an LCD TV. 67% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? My Favorite TVStrengths: Great color picture with super clear HD! Weakness: The wiselink connect to only one device at a time. You can't switch from one device to another quickly. Not a very big deal overall. I am still amazed at the vivid colors and crystal clear picture. I have a 52" Plasma TV that has an amazing picture, but it doesn't quite touch the overall picture that this Samsung does. It has an easy source connectivity with the wiselink and recognizes most any device that is connected to it. There are both automatic color changes and a manual one that you can create to your own settings of preference. The sound is great but I have had a few issues when using a surround sound system. You have to either use the complete surround sound or the TV's surround, not both together. There is some feedback. However, I absolutely love the TV and would purchase another Samsung any day! Samsung 4069 LCD TVStrengths: Matte finish screen -- non reflective, excellent picture quality Weakness: I had ghosting image when I played DVD's without the use of HDMI cable. Switching to HDMI cable got rid of this problem. I bought this TV a month ago after a lot of research. It is 1080P, 120 HZ and has a non-reflective screen. If you use a new DVD with a HDMI cable, the quality is almost as good as a blu ray disc. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Hands down, the best HD experience I every had!Strengths: The 120hz motion plus technology along with great contrast, color, and screen resolusion variations make All media sources look 10X better than on standard HDTVs. Weakness: Are you kidding me?....... This HDTV is also great for gaming. Its like adding more memory, processing power, and an extra graphics card to your gaming system whether its a Xbox 360 or a PS3. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Samsung 4069 almost perfect
Strengths: Setup, great picture, bright bold colors
Weakness: The 120Hz, may need firmware update out of box
This is a good if not great TV... There are just a few things that make it not quite perfect. The picture is awesome very little complaint there.
It is the new technology that causes a few issues. The 120Hz feature is not 100% yet, and is glitchy. The latest firmware helps with this but it is still not perfect. Basically the tv takes a 60Hz signal then converts it to 120hz. To do this is adds frames. It is supposed to help make the scenes look smooth, but on some sources it makes it choppy. It has been dubbed the TBE or triple ball effect... If you are watching football on a long pass you may see trails on the ball. It does not happen all the time however you can turn this feature off if you don't like it; you may need the latest firmware to disable it. I am hoping they are able to fix this in future releases of the firmware.
Overall great picture and I would recommend this set!
