JBL FS-1000 Floor StandStrengths: Good design, elegant finish, very easy to assemble. Weakness: It would have been better if the stand has a height adjustment function. This floor stand fits perfectly with my JBL SCS300.7 speakers. The pricing for a pair is very good. The stand is very stable even when placed on a carpet. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Some stability issues
Strengths: Sharp looking, heavy construction, quality product
Weakness: Side-to-side stability is poor on carpet
Overall good stand but would not recommend them on carpet if there's any potential of them being bumped.
The excellent front-to-back stability is overkill compared to the poor stability side-to-side. Why not make the base round so the "average" stability is better all around?
